So, up until now I've used the Redwood texture pack. Worked fine. But I decided I wanted something a little different, so I head onto the wiki, and pick out a nice hi-res one. Long story short, it didn't work, and after some investigating I figured out it was because something wasn't compatible with Modloader. Fair enough, I'll try out the Painterly Pack. I create a custom one on the site, download it, paste the folder into the texturepacks folder, and compress it into a .zip. Again, nothing. The Redwood pack still works just fine, I have no idea why the others don't.
