IceCraft was a pack that I was creating for personal use but Minecraft is about sharing (expect diamond :SSSS:). I thought so show on the forum for others opinions on it. It is still a work in progress plus it is my first time trying so be hard on it, show no mercy!!
The pack is made around the idea of an ice land or just after an iceage (which would explain the ice everywhere)
CHANGES:
Fixed the bed not having a icon problem.
Made rain look like snow. (Based on SaltyChristian's idea)
Ice Maker no longer shoots flames out
Map and hatch added
I've been waiting for something like this for a while. The painterly pack's ice-textures seem way too chirstmassy to play with exclusively, while I definitely like the more natural look of this. Textures like the icebox-furnace and the chest look a little too simple right now, but I'm sure they'll improve with time and practice. Woolly-mobs are a must! :diamonds:
[quote name= I see that you do some texturing, maybe you could give me some ideas where to go with them?

Hm, well you have wood in your world, how about the chests look similar to the original, but frosted over, maybe with icicles along the edge of the chest. Same for the workbench, maybe with icepick and other carving tools on the side.
I do like the idea of your furnace-to-icebox idea, although with it you should change fire to maybe a bluish hue? (You can find fire and several other textures in the particle file of minecraft.jar.) As for the thing itself, maybe have it look sort of like an igloo, with bricks and a cold area inside. This is all just my opinion of course, if you have a great vision, go for it :smile.gif:
