I've been playing minecraft for well over a year now but just got into mods and texture packs. I have a macbook pro with specs listed below. I followed instructions to "install" the LB Photo realism pack and in runs incredibly slow. I figured my comp. could handle the graphics just fine. Am I wrong? Any solutions? This is a beautiful texture pack and makes the game way more visually please and I like to enjoy it. Thanks for any help.

Your specs are awful. I have a 3.1 GHz dual core, and I can only get like 45 fps on that pack. With your computer, its pretty much impossible to get any higher FPS. And its a mac.

Try a different pack.
