Wood slabs don't seem to be doing their CTM thing anymore (the nice chiseled columns, the jungle wood slabs doing that "hay" effect), is that intentional?
Hey, would you mind if I made (or tried to make) some mod add-ons for your pack? Are you working on anything like that at the moment? I think you used to have some, right? I would credit you, of course, I was just wondering if that's ok with you.
EDIT: Unless it still exists, and is just hidden.
This is what I done in about half an hour. (tin, uranium, copper)
They're not as good as your textures, but I don't think they're too bad. (emphasis on the too)
They also look quite cartoonish, which I know your pack isn't meant to be.
Done, still not working. I really don't understand what's going on, since the smooth stone slabs DO work, both the texturepack and MCPatcher are up to date, but the wood slabs seem to have completely lost their CTM functions. Am I the only one with this problem?
EDIT: The files in the CTM folder regarding the wood slabs don't seem to do anything special, they just randomize the textures, instead, the ones that create special effects, are now located in the "Unused" folder. This is in your latest avaible download from Planet Minecraft, so I don't think the problem is that the pack is outdated.

Only the plain half slabs done anything special, at least that I noticed. Perhaps you could take a screenshot of what you mean? (if you still have the older texture packs)
I don't have the older version of the texturepack, I deleted it when I originally updated it before the cracked/mossy stone bricks fix earlier today, but just for showing you, this is the CTM image file in the texturepack:
The slabs are supposed to be doing the things I highlighted in red, but they are not. Instead, they are doing just the things highlighted in green, that also the normal wood blocks do.
I am certain that the oak slab colums were implemented in the 12w30d version of the pack, and I remember seeing the hay junglewood in the version before that one.
EDIT: In this screenshot from a couple of days ago you can kinda see the top of the column in the bottom right corner (don't be too amazed by my 1337 building skillz, btw)

Those were my original intentions for the new half blocks, but before 1.3.1 came out I decided they were too creative-mode and removed them. Sorry. I may play around with bringing them back in the future.

Maybe you could release both "versions" of the pack, or at least make changing between them easier? Personally, I use SMP for both creative and survival, and having blocks like that would make it easier to create details, but if it's meant to be a survival pack I can see why they may be "too creative".

I'd personally aprecciate if atleast someone pointed me towards a tutorial on how to properly edit CTM files so I could do it myself in the meantime, a lot of my survival world buildings use this, and now they just look like a bunch of wood.

I think the copper and tin look great, but the uranium looks a little.... blobby
Also, I just found this pack, and I absolutely love it! I tend to have a medieval build style, and Sphax and Jolicraft weren't really cutting it. Me, and my friends who reccomended this to me all love it. Thanks for your great work
Because of technical reasons and a bunch of time spent fixing my Minecraft I never really got around to messing around with CTM. Now that I have I really have to say: Ohmygodthatisfreakinawesome!!! You really know how to manipulate pixels ,SMP , and have rolled over all of my expectations!
My first thought about the texture pack before CTM: This is a really nice pack! He couldn't have made it better.
Hey SMP, I love both of your amazing texturepacks. I was wondering if you could try and create a Sonic Ether's Shader Mod V10 compatible version of your texturepack.
Gah. Excited to see an update, but my wood blocks aren't accessing their CTM features properly. 1.3 added that feature where wood could be placed sideways, so as to hide the inner rings that wood shows. Thus, my version's wood does this as well, not connecting with the other wood blocks around it. I shall play around with this and see if a quick reinstall of the pack will fix it.
EDIT: Well, that didn't work. Anyone's thoughts? I'm not too keen on this sort of stuff (CTM, I mean).

It's very easy to make a texture pack SEUS compatible. Copy the water color (it's a bright magenta) from the default SEUS pack onto my terrain.png, then copy his light0.png over and delete my water animations.

I'm not sure I follow. I had to remove my bark CTMs because they weren't working right, so I just added better inner ring textures (i.e. white tops for birch).

That answered my question. I often word things very oddly in the wee hours of the morning. I hadn't realized you had removed tree bark's ctm feature. That was the issue I thought I was having. I'll go back in and rebuild my tower so the trees all face upward now.
Also, very happy to see the new creative interface up and running. I was wondering if you'd match the gray scheme that the inventory screen shares with it or stick to brown or tan. Your aesthetics really make this game better for my mates and I on our private server. I'll have to post a screenshot sometime to show off how nice your pack can make a huge structure look.
For the next update I've added custom textures for the double-slab blocks.
And re-added bark CTMs, though they don't work properly with MCPatcher. If you use Optifine though, the sideways logs don't have the custom inner ring textures.
Hi SMP,
I have a bit of a problem. When I play minecraft with your awesome texture pack, CTM doesn't show up. And yes, I did tick the CTM box in MCPatcher. Can you tell me if it's a problem with MCPatcher or, if not, please fix it.
Thanks! Kepp up the awesome work!

You can dig through this and salvage stuff for whatever mod support you want.

Well they're certainly better than my ores...
