I've got some animations for torch/redstone torch/glowstone that will be in the next update. If I'm going to make animations I'd rather focus on environment stuff. Blinking animals would be creepy.
What about the new mod that comes with Optifine? Extended Connected Textures? It looks pretty cool.

Blinking is very weird, and as we're not staring at a cow's face for more than a second (as we butcher and maim it for its meat and leather), this doesn't seem a priority. I don't want to feel any kind of attachment to my main source of food.
You could also send them to Zarikstone,as there is a "Mods" tab in the customizer. I believe it's just filled with the Millenaire NPCs at the moment.
I set the customizer to hide things that only have one option, so there is actually more mod support than just Millenaire. Also, I don't think the customizer supports the Extended Connected Textures mod.

So I 'spose it's really up to SMP. I'm not a huge fan of that mod to begin with, but I can see its use.
I'm not really a fan either. I never liked the way my glass looked in connected textures, and the other blocks it did never amounted to much. I could see it being useful for wool and I might play around with that in the future, but not for the next update.

Cocoa plants and half-slabs, specifically. I always add in my own textures so that I may keep using this pack even during the snaps, but I like seeing your take on things. I'm pretty sure the slabs have derivative textures. Also, half-slab = quarter block
I'm trying to use the customized version, but, not all files are included, only like half of them. I've downloaded multiple times, yet nothing. And I've downloaded the default SMP's Revival (which I sadly can't stand) and it has all the files. Halp?
Everything is there, trust me. The customizer is set to hide things with only one option.

THANK you 'customiser' for having that AWESOME armour!!! I put it in the pack im using now!!
I have NEVER seen a better set of armour. i search for days. Through all the packs I could. Just looking only at the armour. Seems like everyone always has goober-ish amrour! Thanks for adding that in there! Made my cheeks hurt from smileN.
I'd love to see some unique, beautiful restone lamps too! ;P

You don't seem to get it; I understand those things perfectly well, HOWEVER. When I DOWNLOAD the texture pack from your customizer, only a few of the files are in it. Get it? I've downloaded multiple times and the default TP (without the customizer) works perfectly (I get all the files)
Hmm, okay then. Which files are you missing? Mod support or base texture pack?

here is list of things that i have done just so people don't waste time doing remakes
Random blocks = flowers, Mushrooms, Grass, Ferns, Lily pads, Saplings, Dead Bush, Cobweb, Snow, Netherrack, Dirt, Gravel, Sand, all Sandstone, Leaves, Clays, stone Brick moss and cracked, jack o Lanterns and Jukebox
Better CTM = Bookshelf, Crafting Table, Furnace, all Wood and all Wooden Planks
fixs = stone slab, Glowstone, Doors, Trapdoor

God damn, putting this on my to-do list (no results guaranteed :v).
edit: is there any better documentation on this somewhere? like file structure, templates, names, etc.?
