I love this texture pack! It was the first one I ever used and will continue to use to this day. One thing I've been looking for is a download of the re-textured Steve skin. I'm not sure if it has been kept the same through the last few versions but if it is the same I'd love to have it as my skin! Please make a download link for that because I've searched for replica's of it all over and still have had no luck. Anyways, amazing texture pack! Keep up the good work!

Open up the .zip with winrar/7zip and go into the /mob folder. You can find char.png there that will work if you upload it.
This definitely belongs at the front page of the forums.
I also want to ask something. Have you even thought of making your own font SMP? If Jeb makes writable books, would you make your own font to fit with it? Just a question and Jeb might not even add it but I've been wondering.
is there anyway u could post a link to this pack PRIOR to the update? I'm not liking all the changes to the pack, I just the original pack before u did the 1.2.5 update. I'll add the all the new blocks ( redstone lamps, woods exc) myself. I can't seem to find the normal ( before update) pack ANYYYWHERE. keeps bringing me back to this pack.

I'm dumb and can't figure it out. I've read the instructions in the MCPatcher thread & used the spread sheet but it still came out all wrong. If anyone can direct me to an idiot proof way to making my own font, i'd love to.

The customizer has been updated with more textures from the old one.
I tried making 2 packs and IDL any of it. LOL.
I am stuck on the way the pack was ment to be, before this update.
All I want is to DL the pack before he made the changes. I loved the armour, items, health bar, I litterally LOVED every single thing about the previous pack. I 'thought' the packs update was ONLY going to be adding the new things, NOT changing textures that we already love about the pack. Now Im stuck using default, until I can find this pack before this upddate.

Well, I'm just glad that you've thought of it! Many texture pack artists neglect the font, and to hear that you've actually tried gives me hope that the pack will one day become a complete and total re-skin of the game.

I said "more" not "all". SMP did warn about new textures when he updated, to backup your old versions if you liked them. That's what I did, just in case I happen to set up a customizer for people who want to download some old textures. It would be great if someone would send me textures before update 4, since that's the oldest version I have.
I ended up havin to get a new computer, so I dont have the old one anymore. When I DLed this one, thats when I seen the difference.
Anyways, I thought it was a shot to ask him if he could link the old pack. Hopefully he will, if not... well, guess I'll be on the look out for something.... :/

SMP said he doesn't keep most outdated versions, but I have some of the old armor in the customizer.

I may have some of the armor from in between the current and after the original. I know it by the fact that the gold armor is very odd and fully covers the body and head. Lemme have a look into my old archived textures. Probably have more things I can share.

I have the "King" version of the gold armor, the one that has a red cape and a crown. All I don't really have is stuff that came before update "4".
