I've seen a couple of 'Mirror's Edge in Minecraft' videos on YouTube in which the player has simply used red and white cotton to make a running track. This texture pack will aim to make your maps more versatile by turning all non-functional blocks (like dirt and cobble) white and turning all functional blocks (like doors and fences) red (with some exceptions e.g dispenser is now a crevice in cobble stone).
Really all I've done is change the hues of the default textures but I really think this could improve the versatility of future Minecraft Parkour maps. I aim to release a pack of default textures with the changed colors to see how it's received and if time permits, eventually make my own textures.
This thread is really just to see how many people would be interested. Hope to hear back from some people, I'll keep you updated on my progress.

Oh and the wool textures are just flat colours right now but I might edit them so they look like the cobble but tinged their colour.
This is a little building I made, shows off wooden doors (red) and iron doors (white). That way if you don't have a switch near it, it essentially becomes an un-usuable door.
Minecarts are invisible but their shadow is still there.
This gives you the illusion that you are sliding down a railing when you quickly place it and get in. I'm thinking of changing its icon to a shoe or a diagonal arrow.
You might notice the grass and leaves are still coloured, this is because you're actually required to manually edit the mincraft.jar file to get rid of biome colour. I'll release a copy of it for you to edit the .jar at a later date.

Firstly, I found out that if you use the patcher, you don't need to worry about directly editing the minecraft.jar, if I put transparent leaves and grass in the correct folders and you patch, it'll work fine.
Secondly, even though only the two of you have given me positive feedback, I value you it very much :smile.gif: Plans have changed and it looks like I may have this finished in the next couple of weeks. I'll release a blocks only, then a blocks and items, then a blocks and items and mobs. Thank you again :biggrin.gif:
