Constructive criticism? Well, you should shut yourself away in a little solitary place and focus your entire life on texturing. Occasionally leaving for inspiration with 5 minute breaks every 14.36 hours.
I'm not too sure if this is a compliment or not haha

I never stopped...lol I just took a break from the forums and taught myself how to make weapons for skyrim. still a work in progress, but I can do basic 3d modelling now.
i like your textures. the only thing that is making me scratch my head is that some of your textures in the 128x pack looks pixelated like a 64 pack, there doesnt seem to be aa to give the texture a smoothness from the high to the lows. with alittle aa in the textures that are pixelated this will be an excellent pack

I did my downscaling in a different way than usual. Perhaps I need to do it normally and reupload it.
I don't really like the pumpkin and melon stem. It looks more like a vine than a stem to me.
To be honest, I haven't changed it since I first made it. I thought it was supposed to be a thick vine and I didn't know it was the pumpkin stem. I'll definitely include that in my next update.
But there seems to be missing textures for some of the items in the game (from gui/items.png), it would really be great to have these as well, items such as
- Spider eye + fermented spider eye (completely missing, so invisible in inventory)
- Cauldron (completely missing, so invisible in inventory)
- Fishing Rod (completely missing, so invisible in inventory)
- Ghast tear (Uses default 16x minecraft image)
- Nether Wart (Uses default 16x minecraft image)
- Book & Quill, Written Book, bottle o' enchanting, glistering melon (completely missing, so invisible in inventory)
- Magma Cream, Blaze Powder (completely missing, so invisible in inventory)
It would also be great to have an ender chest texture on the placed chests, right now it defaults to the standard minecraft one, which does not blend in particularily well with your nice chests.
Otherwise, great work on this texture pack. It is my favourite one. I really enjoys the visual look it gives minecraft.
Edit: I also love the new connected textures. The columns outside my library looks very nice when I used those.
Edit 2: Oh, and your font is also nice, but it lacks international characters (like æøå in my case, but I am sure others are missing other characters)
Edit 3: While I am at it, I noticed that there is supposed to be some glyphs flowing from the bookshelves to the enchanting table. There should also be some particles comming from villagers when they define a new trade, as well as particles on screen when you are affected by a potion, but I don't see any of these effects when your texture pack is enabled.

Wow thanks for all that information! I didn't know about those so I will get on it right away! I did however make a cauldron block, I just never made a cauldron item.
The glsl shaders do look great. I did a test of them myself a few weeks ago using your texturepack, and the result was beautiful. Unfortunately, the computer I tested it on was a bit old, so although everything looked beautiful, it was impossible to actually play the game.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but the iron golems and NPC villagers are still using the vanilla texture.
I was also wondering if you could put the grass texture down the side of the dirt blocks a little like the vanilla ones do. The way it just kind of cuts off on the top makes my cliff edges look odd.
Oh yeah and your pumpkin face isn't centered on the block didn't know if you did that on purpose or not.
Really love the way you did the gemstone blocks like Lapiz Lazuli and Glowstone.
Was wondering if there was a way to make kind of a red lightning arc between the repeater nodes on repeaters just for a fun idea.
If I see anything else I will let you know. I am really enjoying this pack so far though.
I was playing around a bit and noticed that the water could use a little bit of darkening or something to make it less invisible. It is very hard to see especially at night.

Lotta great stuff for me to work with here!
Regarding the grass, that is simply an error that is happening. You can fix it by deleting the terrain38.properties file in the folder called "ctm"

I have to say, I enjoyed the way the game looks with the shaders! It kind of stinks that there are so many bugs with it tho :/
I'm redoing the GUI's to look more similar and clean.
If you are redoing the inventory GUI, I would request that you tone down the background in each inventory slot. Several items are a bit difficult to see against your rather "noisy" background.
Your pack is also missing the brewing, enchanting and trading GUI's, hoping you add these too.
I am making a release available in the next few days. I will put it out in 128x and 64x as well.
Thanks for the kind words!!! But there has to be SOMETHING.....
I'm not too sure if this is a compliment or not haha

I have a bit'o'work ahead of me now
spoilered for excessive quantities of awesomesauce.

There is but I don't support it anymore. My next update will have a 64x as well but that is as low as I can go without the textures turning into mush
Also, I need your help choosing a new clay brick texture!

I prefer one of the two bottom brick images you posted. The topmost of the three is too brownish, I like my bricks with a reddish hue.
