so, i have taken it upon my self to make a texture pack but........When i made textures of items, the black background was included in game (So it looked like a black square with the item picture on it):/.

So then i thought o. ill just make it white like it was before i touched it. so then i did but, that didnt work and the white background was still there D:

So then i thought ill just use the erase around the edges so there will be nothing, but the white background was still there.

Can somone tell me how to fix this? (if you want i can upload a image if still dont know what im talking about.)

thanks for the help guys ill check out paint.net, i was using regular paint. thats it it just said "paint"

I cant stress this enough about making texture packs,you cant use paint.

ok well thanks i realize that now, if you guys want to know what im doing im making a Adventure craft map and im making some custome textures, you start off in a crshed plane andi had a couple ideas

Ex:Sheild-airplane door
wooden sword-broken chair leg

stuff like that but, thats only going to be some of the things some of the other items are going to look nice :biggrin.gif:

lo that happend to me when i used to play counterstrike

i was going to get paint.net but, it turns out the site was full of viruses so im going to get gimp, will that still work?

anyone using gimp? because i cant seem to find a square brush that is the size of one pixle of the normal textures :/
