BOLD RED NOTICE: This pack has been discontinued. I can't find the time to work on it anymore, so if someone else would like to take over the job, feel free to do so. Just tell me and credit the textures I made.
BOLD RED DISCLAIMER: Some textures were edited from AcidicTaco's Virtual Reality Texture Pack, and a few teeny tiny bits were edited from the Painterly Pack, some textures were also derived from the Faithful Texture pack, only the items, though.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Download Khar's HD Patcher if you haven't already.
2. Run the patcher and simply hit "Patch"
3. Download Virtual Reality
4. Place the .zip into your Texture pack folder, or if you have a Mac, create a new folder, unzip the file, then put all of the files from the .zip and your Minecraft game into the folder and run that Minecraft.
5. (for PC ONLY) Open your game and and click "Mods and Texture Packs" and select Virtual Reality.
About:
Virtual Reality is a texture pack that was originally done by AcidicTaco. It changes the look of Minecraft to be a sort of Matrix-y world with a very simplistic look.
Where You Can Help:
Texture pack banners and art for the armor. I'd probably do a terrible job. ^^'

*Changed colored wool, lava, sandstone, ores, cake, lapiz lazuli block, and birch wood textures.
+Added an alternate terrain file for those who liked some of the old textures better.
+Added Inventory, furnace, and crafting table screens.
+Added new font
+Added new main menu screen and option buttons.

What's the resolution? The only thing I can think of being wrong with those textures is that the resolution is too small, because they take up 1/4 of the size of the messed up blocks.
Well, I don't know what you did to aggressive mobs, but I will make a guess. If you made them have a red on them, then make passive a teal blue. So you can tell the difference. I'm not sure how spiders work, since they go either way. Wolves are easy. Blue for passive, red for aggressive, and blue with (insert color) collar here.

whoaaaaa just lookin around and I found this, btw I updated this for I think MC 1.2, so a lot of the textures changed, maybe I'll get back to work on this again sometime...

Yes, that does fix the broken block textures, but it also breaks the lava and water texture. :/

Retired StaffHow would it "break them"? Just select different settings of the three.
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to...."
It resets them to the default. I have the settings in the patcher on "custom animated" for all of them, but it doesn't want to work. :/
