I looked at the image linked on Lilyo's texture pack central thread, and I know what to do, I've got the default texture pack downloaded and all, except for 1 thing.
1: What, exactly, does editing the .png entail? And how would I create the pictures anyway? I look at skin pictures(I don't actually have the game :/ ) and they look like random blocks, but then I see people make tutorials on changing your skin and stuff and it comes out perfect on the characters.
P.S. Please don't say "Y u mod the game when u no have it" or similar. I hope to use MCEdit, etc., to make my maps and texture packs, and hopefully through adf.ly and such get the money to actually buy the game.
P.P.S. I know I'm brand new, but I've actually been lurking, reading tutorials and downloading tools that don't actually require I have the game, for months.
