New Name!: WitchCraft, the texture pack is going to make minecraft feel dark and gloomy with a medieval setting.
DL will be here shortly. Updates will be posted here.
Stone:
UPDATE: WOO some original wicked stone...Deffinately sticking with it going to add some more realism to it so it doesnt look like perfect stone.
That is all~
Looking good. The stone has a feel to it that I haven't encountered before, I am very intrigued by it and want more.
As far as providing constructive criticism goes, I think that the light areas would do well with some more noise/roughness/texture/contrast. Not enough to overshadow the cracks/lines/layers, but to supplement the 3D effect of the cracks/lines/layers.

ahh thanks :smile.gif:, I need to make have little bit of color in it not just grey tones, I will try what you said about the lighting out.
Also as for the theme there isn't a name or category that I can place this texture pack in, All I can say is I want it to have a scary feeling in caves and a nice sorta happy feeling outside so to say.
Hey, I like what you've done with that smoothstone. The layers tile well. I agree it could use some more noise. That would look more real... but yeah, I know what a pain it'll be to keep the smooth tiling as noise is added. It'll be worth it, though.
Also very much agree that a hint color would be good. Smoothstone doesn't have to be grey. Nothing wrong with a little bit of color underground, right?

Even just a bit of color can go a long way. Cobblestone can even become a viable building material if has some color in it.
EDIT: Well what'a'ya know! New pics were uploaded while I was typing up my response. And I must say, you have just about nailed the 3D look on the stone. I am in awe.

Lighter Smooth Stone, needs more noise: Also I plan to add some specs of dirt and maybe some common minerals found in rock.
For now though Im off to bed, its 3:00 here spent half the day mocing up smooth stone so fun!! On the plus side, I have a rough idea of the name of the pack and smooth stone is 1-2 more hours from being done, I like the general look but needs more tweaking.

It's still to dark but I do like the general look.
