I don't think a texture pack like this would be against the rules, but if it is I apologize for any inconvenience or anger I may have caused anyone.
Yet again, just an idea and I don't care if it's made it not.
So, when I was younger I always wanted to save empty cigarette packs so I could make a gigantic castle, or whatever, but alas, I never did.
Obviously this wouldn't be a serious texture pack, but I think it could be fun. I know most cigarette packs aren't square-shaped, even if you put two next to each other, so some work would probably be required to make it look right.
Besides specific brands, some other things could be used, such as ashtrays for the compass and clock. Nicotine patches and perhaps even electronic cigarettes could probably be used for something. Pattern styles for the filters, etc. I suppose a lot of the items could be made to look like some mutated cigarettes or something. Wood could probably be made to look like cigars. Sugar Canes could be menthol cigarettes. etc.
Lol, sounds like fun for the novelty of it. I would now like to make a castle with that. I'd model the blocks after the cartons instead of individual packs, though. (You could make the doors packs?)
Also, what brands? Obviously, Marlboro is required for this. That's a large bit of Americana there. (I wonder, what other cigarette brands are iconic in other countries?)
The cigarettes I usually smoke are Marlboro, Pall Mall and sometimes Camel.
Snus/chew/whatever the hell would probably be another option to use. I wish Marlboro would stop sending me coupons for it though. So nasty...er than just cigarettes.

An idea I thought of for wheat would be to start out as a pile of nicotine, then have 1-2 cigarettes grow per stage, then at the final stage they all have filters on them.
That's a funny idea, it would look pretty cool. I'd just make wheat tobacco, though. Then bread could be cigarettes and cookies could be some sort of flavored cigarette.
