Did you seriously just zip up the default textures and release them as a 'smooth texture pack', or am I missing something here?

You could have at least spelled Texture correctly on the zip file.

this exactly. I'm really sick of people assuming because they spent 10 minutes or a couple hours on a pack makes it ok to post it. all it does is push down real packs that took real effort and months to make.
