As soon as possible I will link your official GLSL-Thread within my TP-threads... but first I´m fighting with my brain to make the bumbs working...
I have the issue that GLSL doesnt work with Optifine. I tried to get both workin but I only get a black screen. So I used mcpatcher instead of.
Do you think there will be a chance to make the glsl shader mappings work with the sonic ether shader mod? that mod works fine with optifine...and looks really ... well...wow! ?
I am playing on a mac. I installed mcpatcher and thats all and just patched minecraft and everything seemed to work just fine, but when i opened minecraft all i got was a blackscreen. I deleted mcpatcherand tried again, still blackscreen. Finally I reinstalled minecraft and still get a blackscreen right after I login. please help. ( I am using no mods i just wanted to use an hd texture )

Additional I recommend to use the efault-pack before patching and installing hd-texturepacks in your case..
Download a texture pack in a ZIP file format. If you create your own textures, you need to ZIP them. For in-depth instructions on obtaining the files to make your own custom texture pack go to Tutorials/Custom Texture Packs.
Run Minecraft. If you already have Minecraft running, make sure you save and quit the world: you need to be in the main menu to continue.
Click Texture Packs button.
Click Open Texture Pack Folder button; this will open the folder where Minecraft stores all texture packs. If nothing happens, you need to find the folder manually. Depending on your operating system it is:
Windows XP/Vista/7: %appdata%\.minecraft\texturepacks
GNU/Linux: ~/.minecraft/texturepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home folder)
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/texturepacks (This folder may be hidden)
Is there a non-adfly download? No matter what I do, Adfly blocks me and I can't download the texture pack, I just keep getting a "blocked!" message even when I disable ad blocking and the like.
Is there any alternate download link for HerrSommer Rustic 1.4? The RapidShare page is not loading, and sometimes the adf.ly link gets stuck on "Please Wait.."
Great pack, though, I remember using it a year or so ago!

rapidshare isn´t as bad as many people think, i think and that´s why i decided to use rapidshare.
may be for the next update i will use another filehoste but that is no promise.

there is a very large number of mods worth to be supported. as long as minecraft has not included it´s mod api I will not decide if or what mods will be supported. it would cost lots of time to handle all versions of minecraft (weekly snapshots) working together with the different mods and all versions of my texturepack....
the second thing is, that i do not use mods except randommobs, hd-font and animated water, lava fire and custom portal... that makes it difficult for me to support mods.

yeah, I do know this mistake... difference between prerelease and final version...
it will be corrected with version 2 of my texturepack for 1.4...
