Already after just a few minutes of gameplay, I have to say, this is one of the best texture packs I've used! I especially love the obsidian on lapis lazuli blocks. Please, keep up the great work!
Downloaded, will give individual tile feedback tonight...looks beautiful from screenies though.
Thank you, waiting for your feedback!

This is gorgeous. Definitely feels like the original pack. On steroids.
One thing though. Is it just me or does the clock not work for everyone?
Thanks mate, i forgot to test the clock and the compass, i definitely will tast it and fix it if there is a problem!

Few comments on this.
It looks really nice and keeps the original minecraft feeling! But the sand has a very visible like and a very dark spot in one corner (I know it's there in the original but here it just looks weird).
Edit: The spruce has some obvious tiling issues too.
Also, did you just use like an effect in photoshop or something (not that I hate it)? It would be cool to do this with other low res packs. :smile.gif:
Thank you for the constructive criticism, i also thought about this dark spot, wasn't realy sure if i make it lighter, but when you say that it's weird i make it lighter. And about this issues on the spruce a don't know, but i'm going to look what you mean and try to fix it! I definitely will make a even bigger texturepack with this style and i can try to make one in a lower resolution, but i can't promise that it will work very well!
Yes i used some effects in photoshop, but in lower resulutions the effect isn't that good as in the 64x64 beacuse there not enough pixel to make it look good. I definitely will make a texturepack with a higher resolution and the same style and then i can try also one with a lower resolution but i can't promise that it will work very well.
I changed a the dark spot in the one corner of the sand block and fixed some weird colors on the birch wood. The bug with the clock and the binomes comes from the 1.5 Minecraft version, i can't do anything against it! But when Minecraft version 1.6 is there i'm goint to update this!
It just looks like you upscaled the original and ran it through the edge filter on GIMP. I mean, it doesn't look bad, but I could do that in ten minutes.
Doesn't look like you did much more than just use a smart sharpening filter on them or something similar.
Looks pretty good though.

most of the work is done with some filters but you also have to work on the edges after it, beacuse the become blurred a bit.

I dont know why, but this reminds me of paper mario or something. But it looks really sharp and nice.
Yes, it realy looks like paper mario :biggrin.gif:

I meant that if it would work if you'd scale up a 16x pack to 64x and the put the effect on it? Could look really cool with some packs!
Yeah, that shoud work also... but i think you need more clear packs for it, beacuse when you use a very detailed pack there woud be very many light edges that woud look ugly, but you have to try.

Fair point. I'm not sure how exactly you did it, but I'd upscale it with no interpolation, and it would probably come out best if you did the filter texture by texture.

Maybe, but edited the rest of the terrain.png now, so the ugly edges of the blocks are gone...
€DIT: Images shoud work now!
Thanks :smile.gif:
