CroCraft is technically a complete overhaul of "Croco's Pack". It is somewhat Medieval like my original pack and stays close to the style of the original. I will be updating this pack often so that I can replace all placeholders. Speaking of which (I will now use red text to get your attention) the Items, GUI, and Mobs I am using as place holders are by Vattic from the Faithful 32x Pack. So don't compliment me on any of those (yet). I hope you enjoy my pack and please feel free to post how you like it.
Download CroCraft (v1.3)
Last updated: June 30, 2011 (Compatible with 1.7)
1. Download the pack and Kahr's HD Texture Fix.
2. Open up Minecraft's texture pack folder (can be opened up from inside of Minecraft) and drop the "CroCraft.zip" file inside of it.
3. Open Kahr's patcher. Its very straight forward, all you do is click "patch".
4. Open up Minecraft and select the "CroCraft" texture pack. And that's it!
CroCraft is also an awesome Croatian Minecraft server. This server has made CroCraft their official pack! So if you are looking for a good server (especially if you are Croatian), check out the CroCraft (server) website!
looks pretty good. I assume its meant to be quite dark? may have to dl this and try it out.
Thanks! And yes it is meant to be dark, since its theme is "dark Medieval". I hope you enjoy it!

I could've sworn I commented on this pack...oh well.
It looks really nice, not something I could use due to how dark it is, but it's still a great texture pack.
Haha, yeah I've had that before, but for me its usually because of a lack of sleep.
I understand, a lot of my friends will only play with brighter packs, its all a matter of taste. But I do appreciate the compliment!

I like the dark look of this.
The portal looks a bit too bright, though. I hope you consider darkening it.
Thank you, like I said before, its all a matter of taste, lol.
The portal itself is still the default and I will probably fix that once I learn how to animate stuff nicely. I may go bug Gestankfaust about that later, he seems to know what hes doing.
Excellent work Croco! :smile.gif:
Looks great. I can see you took some inspiration from John Smith and Glimmar! :tongue.gif:
I really like it though. I'll download it now and post some pictures of my world with it after my French lesson!
I like the dark look to it, plus it reminds me of Gerudoku, but that's not a bad thing, great pack
Being even close to gerudoku is an accomplishment, so thank you! I did get some inspiration from that pack.

I actually was very inspired by John Smith and Glimmar! Some similarities might also be because of Gestankfaust's advice, which was to look at other artist's work and find the techniques they used to make stuff look good, and apply that to what you are trying to make. Which proved very useful!
Oooh, you are learning french? Its a wonderful language. I'm learning German, but unfortunately I am not very good at it :sad.gif: . Anyways, I'll look forward to screenshots of your world! Its always interesting to see how your pack looks like on other building styles.
Well, derp >.>
It would seem I forgot to post my pics!
I WILL do it tomorrow because right now, is nap time! :biggrin.gif:
At least I now have a massive tower and completed mansion to take some pictures of!

That's fine, I derp all the time lol.
Oh and will that tower be your "puma tower" I read about in your thread? It sounds pretty cool!
New update coming soon!
There will be new GUI, armor, and plenty of fixes/tweaks. That's the change list so far, but there may be more later on, depending on how much time I have. Stay tuned!
I think it's great. I've always have a yearning for a medieval theme every time I play Minecraft so I've been searching for texture packs that can provide that.
My only gripe would be your stone blocks, they just seem off. Looks too much like smaller cobblestone and it doesn't tile as well as the other blocks.

Well then, my pack is only going to get better and better for you because I will be making it more medievaly in the future, the update to 1.6 will feature new armor, new gui, and maybe some new mobs.
And yes I understand. It was sorta bothering me too, I think I will replace it, depending on how well it looks and make it and alt texture.
I really like the textures they are brilliant however the tools let the pack down. I think you should design a new look for the tools and some items as they look very plain. The armor is very plain also but I understand that you are improving it. Apart from the downfall of some items the pack is great =D
Thanks! Well, all of the items are placeholders at the moment, so no need to worry. All of them will be replaced soon.
Here we go! The 1.6 update is almost here. I just need to finish a couple of things. Here are some pics (you may notice a few other changes/updates as well)!
V1.1 is now out! Features are:
- Now compatible with 1.6
- New Leather armor/icons (WIP)
- New Iron Helmet
- New pictures
- New items (misc.)
- New Weapons (wooden/stone sword)
- New GUI (inventory, furnace)
- A few fixes
There will be more out soon, so stay tuned! :wink.gif:

Use Kahr's Beta HD Texture Fix!
Which you can download here.
Or this pack will be glitchy!

2. Open up Minecraft's texture pack folder (can be opened up from inside of Minecraft) and drop the "CroCraft.zip" file inside of it.

CroCraft is also an awesome Croatian Minecraft server. This server has made CroCraft their official pack! So if you are looking for a good server (especially if you are Croatian), check out the CroCraft (server) website!
Credits
Vattic - for all placeholders. These consist of the: Items, Gui, and Mobs. Check out his pack: Faithful 32x Pack
And this is what it looks like:
Never got why people do this, but I might as well, it looks fun!

"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to...."
Well, thank you! I wanted to make it dark, but not "I can't see a thing" dark. And It seems like I accomplished that, so Yay!
Thanks, I like having my stuff up your alley!
I should really rephrase that....

Thank you! That's what I was aiming for with the cobble!
Your texture pack isn't half bad either. Especially for your first!
