that could work, and be very cool. The particles here you mean:
The only thing I can see not working is that if you jump in the water normally or rain... those particles will be used too. But it might be worth it. Nothing stopping a test run though.
What do you mean if you jump in the water normally or rain? do those particles pop out?

Yeah there are 6 different "white" textures for different water splashes in the png file and I'm not sure exactly sure which one does which. I think there might be some overlap for the splash particles but until I test it out I'm not 100% sure.
Well, I'm not absolutely certain either, but as far as I can see, there are only 2 sets of water-based particles, both of which are used at various points in the game engine.
HAHA love the pack :wink.gif: But i run into some creepers, and i got so distracted by their faces that they blew up on me -.- Nice explosion thou :biggrin.gif:

It makes sense. I think I might check them out later, put like a black line one by one and see where each particle pops out. I know the "smoke" particles have some distinction in them (debating even possibly having red/orange particles for other effects perhaps)

Ahaha yeah they have that effect on me too :smile.gif:
well if thats true why don't you tell the splash and rain to "look" somewhere else for there effects and create a separate file for that... if you can do that.

I'm sure there is a way to do that. It would be in the mod territory of addons though and wouldn't work with just a texture pack zip. Don't worry though I'm going to look into which particle does which and maybe something might pan out. Was just looking at pics of slimes to model my next mob off of, I'm thinking this
From the new Skyward Sword Zelda that is half cell shaded/cartoony style.

I believe most of the particles on the page are frames of animations rather than single particles, so I don't think they are really used in different places.

This pack... is truly a work of art!
I'll keep my eye open for Slime textures, but I say go with the LoZ:SS Slime Texture for now...
And a http://static.minecraftforum.net/public/style_emoticons/default/cloth5yellow.png for you!
Use it to show where the exit is, we wouldn't want you permanently trapped in a cave, surrounded by Creepers while you're working on this!

Maybe I screwed up, but are you missing a few Furnace things? The "fuel meter" doesn't change for me (It's just the red torch smoke particle) and it doesn't tell how far done it is cooking the ore/meat. Anyone else get this?
Otherwise, the pack is frigin' awesome. I Love it :biggrin.gif:
I think you killed the cobble, I liked it the way it was before :sad.gif:
It'l most likely be in an alternate terrain.png file later.'
Also,
I've been toying with the idea of making a "dark" Wind Waker inspired pack. Making things desolate, super dark water, old dark brown cobble and change smooth stone color etc. We will see.

Will be released when I finish the pig skin and I do a couple more fixes to make a big enough update.
Also, don't you hate when mobs never drop what they have equipped? :biggrin.gif: secrets secrets
