I like it! asked the creator if I could link to it and hopefully he will do the same.
Here are some banners, including the one I use. Ill make up one or two more soon as well. Once I finish the passive critters I'll make one up of them too.
Thankyou Very much time to represent ^.^ I'll use the second one so you can keep an original :3
Haha don't worry, use the other one if you want. Someone else is already using it as well! I like it more but made the other one in case someone wanted something "simpler" I like how the one shows off the particle effects.
Excellent texture pack. I like it a lot. I really like what you've done with the new cobblestone and the new water looks really good as well. My only modest suggestion is to make the mossy cobblestone stand out a little more. You can see it up close, but I personally believe it could do with a bit more flora growing from it. Keep up the good work. :smile.gif:

Ya I agree, I didn't have enough time to edit it fully, that's going to come soon. I wanted to push the final cobble out though last night. It's missing a lot of the depth adding I did to the final cobble.
*edit* oh yeah and god why didn't I think of it yet... SLIMES need a skin! last of the mobs
Hooray! Cobble looks great. Apart from the passive mobs, theres not much room for improvement in this pack.
The only thing I don't particularly like is the glass, It seems to have ice or something around the edges, and it doesnt really fit in to every biome of Minecraft.
Also I'd add support for mods like "Better Glass" ect it looks really snazzy :biggrin.gif:
Also are you on 1.5_01??? I can't get the glsl thing to work for me.. I really would Like to see the cartoon'ish outlines...
Stephen - Yeah that is something I want to do at some point, I want to get the base stuff out of the way first though. It'l look snazzy for sure. Yeah atm I'm running 1.5 just because I have all my mods active for testing and stuff. I don't think the shader's work for 1.6 yet.
Is this your pack?
looks like the other one...
Stolen or?
:S
Yes it is mine, at least I am the main contributor now...
You can see in my original post that this texture pack was adapted from Ravecat's The Great Sea v1.6 texture pack. He has given me his full support to carry it forward as he discontinued his version. My updates have also changed the pack extensively since I adapted it; although I still offer his original 1.6 pack in my post.
Since adapting this pack and continuing it further I have added (custom designs of):
-All hostile mobs sans slimes
-Full Hd Item list with many custom armor and weapon designs
-Squid, Wolf hd critter skins
-Changed water color
-Changed handfull of terrain files (cobble, mossy cobble, chest, all 1.6 updates, long grass, flowers, lapis, wooden door, pumpkin, breaking animation, fixed color for fast graphics
-Foliage color, grass color
-Edited and fixed edges in terrain files
-Map, compass, watch
Ravecat is credited in both the main post and in the in game icon as the originator pack for mainly the terrain and gui files.
Yeah, Proloe is right, it is for stylistic effect. Wind waker had 100% non see through water; but I made it have slight transparency so you can still see through it for people with cool water creations.
also with the boat you don't necessarily have to add the head like in windwaker, so just giving it that nice red and white pattern should work if you can't give it the head of the tiger thingy..

Ya that will work. I have another cool screenshot here too of a boat I took. I want to try and make the dragon boat skin first though if it works.
Also guys, I added to my main post a really cool sound mod pack. It has sounds and music from many Zelda's including The Wind Waker. It's created by VincentX3 and the link to the thread is:

OOOOOH! I got an idea... maybe you could use the particle effects the water creates to make the boat "ghost" in where the image of the lion boat slowly fades in as you ride on the water... and it doesn't totally fade in it only ghosts in to where its see through, suggesting the spirit of the boat but you know its not actually there so you don't have to worry about it reacting with the environment!
Its bold but it just might work... the water is circular!

that could work, and be very cool. The particles here you mean:
The only thing I can see not working is that if you jump in the water normally or rain... those particles will be used too. But it might be worth it. Nothing stopping a test run though.

-Good idea about the into. I'll take a look at making up something cool for the main menus too.

Good eye though.
Rest now Hero Napkin, you're in a better place. ;_;
It already is, only very slightly.
Thanks! :smile.gif:
