(I've started to use adfly, if anyone has any problems please let me know. I hope people will continue to support me in keeping this pack updated!)
Also for the other people, I'll look at updating for betterglass for sure. I totally missed the Seahat, that could have been an interesting model! and I would definitely consider working on an Adventurecraft version, after a few core updates at least though.
awesome, can't wait for the new mobs.
Something I just remembered about this pick. The gui is disappointing, despite whatever accuracy it has to the game. I love your work on this pack any chance we'll see a gui change at any point. I realize its probably towards the bottom of the to do list but just curious if you had any plans to spruce it up a bit.
Thanks again for the great pack, off to play with it now.
Yeah sure, I can take a look at the gui at some point. It wont be until I have everything up to 128 though most likely; but I do like to make things perfect.
Ya for sure! here is the code I used to link it in my sig [rl=http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=344979&p=4753062#p4753062url][MG]http://i.imgur.com/PbZKd.png[/IMG] just put the u and I back in the url and img thing.
Good idea though I'm going to put the wind waker in the title. I liked the clean look of just The Great Sea but I think you make a good point.
Just woke up so time to start working on those mobs and map!
Definitely the best themed texture pack I've seen, by far. Basically all the other packs I've seen that try to emulate a particular game or what-have-you always ends up with me thinking "Yeah, I guess that kind of looks like (x)." But this pack really, really, REALLY feels like I'm playing Windwaker again. Kudos, but DAMN do the zombies scare me more with Redead skins and sounds.
Hehe thanks! I need to try out the sounds myself, still haven't gotten around to it.
Also just showing a sneak peak of that alt ghast skin I was talking about, the Peahat. Took me about an hour to do, after I finished the map stuff. I'll release this update after I finish one more skin.
I don't like how cobble looks, and the water doesn't look like TWW at all. Also, those thick black outlines in the pictures are ugly, I almost didn't download until I found they were not actually in the texture pack.

Thanks for your input, as you can see from the other posts those are all things on my changelog so I am intending on editing those at some point. Most of the terrain was done by Ravecat before he discontinued work on his project. I have only completely changed a few blocks and added in my own grass, 1.6 stuff, and texture fixes to the rest (for the terrain.png). I will continue to edit everything up to 128 and also make other passes to old things.
The black lines are a personal preference. I didn't even have interest in any texture packs at all until I saw those cartoon shaders. I'll maybe make a disclaimer stating that all pics are with them.
Here's a little teaser what I have done so far for the pigzombie. Going to work now though so I can't finish it until later :sad.gif:
Also since I cant release it quite yet here are the files for the map, put the two in the misc folder and the items in the gui folder
That Peahat tricks my eyes. It kind of looks semiround on the edges (which is really awesome) or is that because of the shader?
And wtf :ohmy.gif: it has even those little curledup tentacles? I thought everything in minecraft was restricted to those blocky models.
Truly beautiful!
Ya it's just a trick of the colours. Not the shader mod :smile.gif: the tentacles are just an illusion too, I just made the texture on only one side of the block and kept the rest transparent. Thanks :smile.gif:
Devon: You see that?
Random Dude: What? That mud house?
Devon: MUD HOUSE!?! That's the Mud Hut of Massitivity!!! Get it right people!!!

Thank you :smile.gif: And firstly your right about the shaders not being updated for 1.64 yet. The pics I posted were from my 1.5 backup client I used that still has mods to test mob skins quickly. As soon as the shaders get updated if you are still having trouble I would be happy to help you out!
I am really loving this texturepack, and how much effort/time you are putting into keeping it updated! I also have another request, other than some of the repeated comments about lava and cobble. Could you make the armor HD? that would be SO awesome. love your pack, thanks!

Also! I forgot to include the new map icon in the Items.png. Will be up tomorrow along with a new skin

What's happening? Make sure you have the hd patched installed, for 1.5. I know that was updated for 1.6 and it might not work on 1.5 anymore.

I have a couple new sigs to use as well,
Agreed, remake all the islands and dungeons! Would be interesting to have an all water map.
that! is an excellent question. I would love to see the results.
