Simply amazing. Just what I was looking for :smile.gif:
Thanks bud :smile.gif:
Also here's a new version of "Dungeons of Hyrule" that adds in:
-all the ore blocks
-snow/dirt tile has new dirt model texture
-little tweaks to sandstone block, smooth stone to tile better
-Changed wood door to "ravaged door" model
-Changed door icons to accurately represent new models
-Fixed clipping on Diamond boots from Diamond sword
Due to popular demand, I've updated the terrain and water files for a [x64] version!
I think it turned out quite well and is almost impossible to tell the difference without looking close at most blocks. I have some comparison screenshots here for you. The Dl link is at the bottom.
That's a pretty big compliment! thanks man! Bordercraft is one of my favorites too.
Also thanks to everyone this pack has been downloaded over 5300 times!
Next patch will include the finished pig model, a few terrain fixes in x128 The Great Sea and hopefully another skin.. cow maybe? anyone with suggestions?
I creamed in my pants due to the pure awesome my young eyes were exposed to. You sir, are a texture pack god in my eyes. I have been looking for a Wind Waker texture pack for so long. You sir, win an Internet.
I can barely run a 32x32 on my crusty old laptop, but dear lord you make me want to buy a new computer. Thanks for the hard work, hope to see more soon!

Current project: Bridge Bay, a subtropical city with a bay that has bridges. Check it out HERE!
Thanks for all the praises guys, people posting and showing interest is what fuels my motivation to keep making more :smile.gif:
My idea for the diamond block ended up going into the Dungeons of Hyrule pack, its based off a structure in the sea. It's probably my favorite block of the entire version. I'll take a look at the netherrack and maybe there are quick changes I could make to help it stack better. There are still a few things I want to change for both packs too, Obsidian being one of them for the regular version. Of course, I still need to finish the skins for:
-the pig, chicken and cow
-armor sets
-boat
-minecart
Along with the terrain stuff I always like to fool with.
I really want to hear some feedback about the "Dungeons of Hyrule" though. It's growing on me quite a bit with the darker theme. One thing I know needs work though is the grass. It needs shading on the underside or something to not look so edgy when you get up close.
After work today I'll have a few hours to work on more so hopefully you will see a new version of both soon. I always have breaks to check up on conversation though so I'll be around here. I love chatting about design and direction changes etc.
So keep the posts and constructive criticism coming!
Heya guys, update on what I was working on tonight.
Got a little bored with working on stuff and when I was looking around I got a little inspired from some pics. Resulting I'm looking at making a skyward sword texture pack. It's going to be very pastel, paintly like, much like the game. Some of the assets will be transferable to this pack (obsidian already will be, which i will preview in the following pic). When I am finished I'll likely post in a new thread linked to this one.
In this pic you can see the new leaves, cobblestone, obisidian, gold block and one of the tree bark textures.
Edit*
dirt, grass(side and top) cobble color change(looks more skywardy color now from screens) and red smooth stone. I found something interesting that you guys might appreciate. The smooth stone texture get this, its a modified texture of the smooth stone texture in this wind waker pack. Meaning Nintendo recycled textures from Wind Waker.. looool, noticed it when I was making it tile able
Does anyone know when the shader is going to be updated to the current patch? And can anyone tell me how to get the sound pack to work? A video tutorial would be nice---> I can't find them anywhere on the internet.
I hope this new project isn't the end of "The Great Sea"....
No not at all :smile.gif: just felt like testing some terrain stuff out.. The purple cobble will probably be the new obsidian too for the great sea. It's been a busy week :sad.gif:
Then for the great sea--> the block with the yellow and the brown that boarders it. And then the second block i'm interested in is the yellow cobblestone what is that one?
Thanks!
