Whats up everybody. This is my minimalist texture pack. Its all black and white and focuses on selective coloring. I'm not a graphic designer by any means. I mainly focus on photography and I'd like to incorporate that into this pack and maybe future packs if there are any.
The Pack:
It started as a light painting texture pack. But I decided to just convert it to a more updated version of BnW Malas pack. At the moment it isn't finished and I'm just trying to see if I should release it. Its not practical at the moment and it probably won't be when/if its finished or when/if its released.
An example of the terrain at the moment. Only the cobble, wood planks, and wood are finished.
An example of wood planks, and cobble working together.
Trees on fast are fully colored. The leaves on fancy are transparent though.
The lines become a jumble at the moment. But this gives an example of the selective coloring.
A wood house with wool
Glowstone and wheat
Why selective coloring if it isn't practical:
I just find it more interesting. The fact that you can draw focus onto very specific things using selective coloring makes it a cool technique. If you're underground the whole day and finally come up to the surface you'll be assaulted by the different colors that are present in the trees, sky, grass, and sun.
Don't ever, ever change the pumpkin texture, it looks absolutely amazing.
lol. Not sure if mean dont change mine, or dont change the original. But thanks :tongue.gif:

I like it, unlike most of these simple texture packs you see here these days, this is actually original and well-made
Thanks. I wont take credit for the original idea, that was more Mala (dunno if thats his name). He showed me that selective coloring could be done in MC. So I could only hope my pack is a well made as his was :smile.gif:

Love the look of this texture pack, downloading this pack next time im on my computer.
Also could you make it compatible with wild grass?
There is no download link yet. I'll probably finish some things and put it up some time tomorrow or today.
I'll try to make it compatible with wild grass. I may just leave the slots transparent so that it uses the original textures. If thats possible.
