What's New: Most everything except for horses, hardened clay, and stained glass! (Randommobs support!)
WHY GET THIS TEXTURE PACK AND WHAT MAKES THIS TEXTURE PACK STAND OUT?
With the 16x16 pixel aspect ratio, I felt it was necessary to work with the limitations and compliment them through that. Therefore, this texture pack is simplistic in feel, yet does not stray away from realism and accuracy. With leather GUI, a fun HUD, fancy items, and a Celtic-inspired colour palette, this pack feels all its own and extremely enjoyable. The bold colors bring Minecraft to vibrant life, and the relative textures make you feel comfortable to know what materials you're using. No trickery, no confusion, this texture pack feels natural and lively. Give it a whirl and perhaps you'll find it so as well. My resource pack has been in the making since beta 1.2_02! We're up to date with 1.5.1 (Compatible with 1.7.4) textures and still kicking!Enjoy, and I thank you very much for downloading! Please do not redistribute as your own, thank you.
HOW TO INSTALL: (Works best with Optifine installed! Get all the animated and continued blocks, the random mob skins, and all the custom colours!)
PC & Apple: Simply download, paste into your 'resource packs' folder under '.minecraft' and enjoy!
Thanks! I'm sure you'll like it better in-game. :wink.gif: If you have any ideas or comments about the pack, please don't hesitate to let me know! :biggrin.gif:
It has been updated to v2.7 recently! That's to catch up to MC v1.6.5! I encourage you to check it out!
Also, keep on the look-out for v2.8 as it is VERY near finished! What's it feature? NEW AGGRESSIVE MOB SKINS!
Version 2.8 is available for download, and v2.8.1 is already in progress! Apart from animated images {fire etc.}, I have only the paintings to finish, detail the spider skin, and change a few hue and shading things.
Keep a look out! This pack is <THIS> close to being finished! :biggrin.gif:
I can definitely see the Frendan inspiration, but the pack really stands on its own. Nice work.
A piece of advice, though: try to vary the locations of your pictures. All of your pictures are in a forest environment, and don't show off that many textures.
You're right, BillyTingle, I will work on taking better screen shots soon, thank you. =) Including, I'll use green wool blocks to make green screens so I can show mobs as a standalone, and kinda display my pack more like Jolicraft displays his. =)
Thanks for the input, and thank you for the compliments. I really appreciate it. =)
i like everything...except the health bar, it is just too hard to tell how much health i have left. If you made it more distinguished change between each health (like a random black pixel) it would be much better.

I hope you are joking as this is quite possibly the dumbest idea ever in the history of mankind.
That's true, redjericho, I hadn't really thought about it too much, but, subconsciously, I've noticed it's hard to count. I guess, for me, I just kinda see how much I have left as a percentage. But, I could see that being complicated when you factor in food.
So, thank you! I'll make note of that and see what I can do to fix it. =)
Also note, my armor bar is made up of health packs, but I'm sure that a quick change from white to a dark grey in colors will make them look like shields, as that is what I originally intended.

I changed the health bar slightly, along with the armor bar. I'll be uploading the final version [minus animated files] once I figure out the Spider texture. If you feel like something needs work or have something that could really help this pack, please let me know. =)
Please, sir, this is not just 'another simplecraft', this has class! Just because it's 16x16 doesn't mean it's 'simple'. If you took the time to check it out and saw its full potential, you'd understand that it is completely stand-alone and original. It is both realistic and cartoony. All items are as real as can be, and the terrain is simply made to look less serious and grim than many other texture packs out there. =) Such games as Minecraft have beauty in their simplicity, and to stray away from the core of the game and the standard 16x16 textures would be to ignore its purpose. This game is light, creative, and simply a fun game for anyone and everyone to enjoy. Why not make a texture pack that shows the game in said light? =)
I hope you understand where I am coming from, and know that this is not a 'tile' or 'simple' or even 'smooth' pack; it's fun, it's creative, and it's sincerely fantastic. =) I hope that persuades you some.
Dude, are you just a giat troll? I have seen tons of your comments and they're just bitching about others packs. LJ,is say well done i really love this pack, although i think perhaps the health is a bit weird? May just be me XD

That is iron. That means you can do whatever you want with my pack as long as you say it was by me
BTW reported for necroing an over a month old thread geez...
Who, me? Why would I be reported for updating my own thread? This is the thread on my texture pack... I don't think I can break any rules by updating my own texture pack for everyone. Sorry I took so long to finish it? =[
I wouldn't say its exactly 'simple'. Simple is more like one colour this has a little bit more detail than simple. To call this pack a simple pack is an understatement.

Even if it's about the pack updating? Does the pack even change location on the forums if I were to ONLY edit the starting post of the thread? I thought it wouldn't change anything, so I always add a reply to the bottom of the thread to update it, or 'bump' it, sure... =/

Everything that was out of place in either color, size, texture, or any sort of appearance, has been rectified!
I encourage you to check it out! Compatible with 1.7.3!
Tell your friends about it! :biggrin.gif:
Now with everything finished except custom fire. :tongue.gif: It's the VERY last thing, and it will be done SOON! :biggrin.gif:

It was still "classified" as a "bump"...
