This is a pack consisting of textures ripped from the game The Wind Waker.
It started out as a fan pack of The Great Sea, by Ravecat, but as I changed more and more textures, it became more and more a pack on its own. And the only textures that are the same are mostly, with the exception of cacti, textures which are ripped from the game, and hence, the same. There are also a lot of similar textures, that I made and allowed him to include in his pack, such as the water, the rails, redstone and the breaking sequence.
This pack includes a complete terrain.png, an almost complete item.png and a lot more such as custom art from the game, gui from the game (ravecat's), HD Dial for the chrono, mobs (ravecat's), animated still water (no flowing animation, sorry. Perhaps later on) and a complete particles.png.
Credit to Ravecat for his great pack and to the HD patcher team for making HD textures possible.
Important; this pack is 128x, and you must use the HD patcher to use this texture pack.
oh god, so many good texturepacks today. those torches are BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT I SAY
GOOD JOB! I this is very well done and I hope you get the feedback you deserve for this.
also, people are going to claim these are the minecraft4kids textures; if you actually got them out of the game itself, dont worry, he did the same and those people have no idea what they are talking about.
edit: only the mobs could take some work. they kind of dont fit into the high-res stuff, being 16x (i think)
:ohmy.gif:
you used my map for a screenshot pic! I'm happy now :smile.gif:
it's really too bad that adventurecraft can't use HD textures, but I'll be sure to use this whenever I play vanilla minecraft ;D

The mobs are ravecat's yet. I haven't started on doing them yet, so they are more placeholders, you could say.
I plan on doing them HD.
While on the topic, I was toying with the idea of replacing the creeper with the bomb-carrying-rat instead. How would that be recieved?

Yeah, I had some problems with that. So I just took a overview picture without adventurecraft.

I like the dirt, even though it looks fimiliar, "COUGH"minecraft4kids"COUGH"
you do realize both of these texturepacks use textures straight out of the game?
ofcourse you dont. you use bold, blue text for attention and you dont bother reading stuff.
Thanks.
However, there are some items I'd like to change, such as clay and flint and steel.
Ideas?

Lol, I like your letters but it looks fimiliar as well. Oh right, it's something we all use. :tongue.gif:
To clear this up, these textures are all ripped from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, custom made, or from ravecats pack.
Minecraft4kids use textures from the same game, but that does not mean I stole it. I ripped it from the actual game files.
Please dont stop working on this, Im in love with these textures.
I think that fire-thingy (i forgot the name) is very good for the flint and steel, but these orbs (forgot the name too) for the flint, clay and, uh, slimeballs i think are a bit confusing when playing. I dont have an idea what they could be.
