For the mod with the inventory can they please be full squares instead of half squares? Like the item bar for instance, can we have a version of it where it is a full square?

Why? the item that is selected in the hotbar is a squire. That is how you are supposed to tell which one you have selected. It's based on the way it looks in Fallout so I see no problem.

A VERSION of it, I meant that it would be like an alternate texture.
Hi. I wanted to know if you would allow me to use your texture pack for an adventure map I am making. This resource pack is the best fallout one I have seen and I wanted to use it. I would definitely give you credit as well. I can assure you that plenty of time will be spent making this. I can show you other creations that I have made for a reference if you wish.

You may link to the Mineout page here as the suggested texture pack. It's best not to include the pack itself with the map so don't.
Go ahead and send me some screenshots if you want. How is the progress on the map and what are you going for?
Hey I was just wondering if I could use this texture pack for a map that I'm making, I've been looking for a great apacoliptyc texture pack and this one is awesome. I will give all credit to the texture pack and link your website if you allow me to use it. I promise you a lot of time will be spent on this map. Thanks for reading.

You can link to the pack page here but you may NOT include the pack included in your map download.
Are there any other fallout themed texture packs out there?
Not based on the game, but an actual nuclear fallout?
I have seen a few but all based on other games. Nothing that special. Plus I am not really in the market for finding other texture packs as I only use my own.
You should add the song "Home on the Wastes" instead of one of the other music discs.
-but don't replace "Ain't that a kick in the head"-
I felt "Home on the wastes" wasn't iconic enough of a song from Fallout as it is something you have to do a quest and watch a performance to listen too. A lot of people simply killed the mysterious guitarist for his unique pistol without realizing that you can get it from doing his quest.
On a side note even if you don't recognize some of the songs on disc they are still rather important as I have included some songs from the original Fallouts. If you have never played them I suggest that you do as they are outstanding games but don't expect them to be the same as the newer ones. The older ones have a larger learning curve and are more challenging.
Hey, I wasn't sure where to put the alternative mob skins myself because of the new resource pack system changing everything placement. But now that I know where they should be then I will put them in their proper place for easy use. Along with adding the suggest to use optifine or MC patcher.
As for your suggestion I will take a look and give it some thought.
Thank you very much for letting me know about the proper placement for the randoms.
I've been using this texture pack since the 1.5 update and this is amazing.
It's actually one of the few texture packs which I uses for more than a week.
After updating to 1.6, I've found some minor bugs and tried to fix them myself, I'll post them here so that other people could enjoy those little detail sweetness!
The first one is the animated diamond sword texture, it first appeared as a 2*2 black-and-purple checkerboard.
Copying any .mcmeta file and renaming it "diamond_sword.png.mcmeta" fixed it.
The second one is the language pack, the option of the Mineout - English language in the language menu was missing, and I edited the pack.mcmeta like so:
Am i missing the part where it explains where you guys got permission to use Fallout's music and sound, or it is a bit ironic that you feel free to take other organization's intellectual property, then complain loudly about other people taking yours?

Which is of course located in a document called "Legal-Stuff-Must-Read.txt" inside of the Mineout pack which you obviously didn't read. So go do so now in your nearest copy of Mineout.
I am not using the new sounds commercially so there is nothing wrong with what I am doing. Just look around at other PC game mods. There are plenty that use other peoples sounds and music. Even some that is protected under law. However it is fine as long as they don't profit from their direct inclusion. Matter of fact Mineout is a glorified Fallout mod for Minecraft.
So as I can tell you just like reading pages of other pack's comments and finding something to grope about before you even look in the most obvious of places for a disclaimer. I will make this simple, go brush up on your knowledge of commercial distribution and private use before leaving something as unfounded as your miss guided attempt to undermine far superior works than your own uninspired "Faithful" adaptation.

I used an app called nova skin on google chrome. It doesn't work well on any other browsers.

I know what you meant. It is just an odd request and I wanted to know why you want it.

Not sure but just use this link. It should work.

Also, the file name of the alt textures is not updated.
I hope this can help other people to have a optimal enjoyment using this texture pack!

Well yes, you are missing something. Particularly the part where I explained and I quote "Regarding the new sounds and music files: they are property of Bethesda and their respective musical artists and are not for commercial use. Fallout © of Bethesda Sofworks".
