Looking at the screenshot, it's not bad. Not the kind of pack I use (I think the game looks best at 64x), but I'll offer my opinion anyways.
I like the wood, the chest, and the bed. They're nicely shaded and have a good amount of noise.
The rest of the things look kind of flat, and could use some more shading. Without it the noise just looks bad.
I don't know how much help it'll be to you, but I recently found this site when looking for pixel art tutorials. It has quite a bit on making game tiles, and I think the tutorials are helpful.
Also, your image is kind of messed up, you used the link to the page where you can view the image as opposed to hotlinking to the image itself. Use this instead:

Oh, I see. Still, then, by examining those things, the author of the texture pack may be able to improve his skill.
