this texture pack was DESIGNED based on the simple idea of MAKING A 32x32 RESOLUTION VERSION OF THE PAINTERLY PACK.
what started as a simple combination of other texture packs from such makers as OVO, DOKU, AND JOHN SMITH has turned into some thing MUCH MORE.
behold the green grass, behold the brown dirt, behold the gravel and trees and stone and wood BEHOLD
if you are a fan of PAINTERLY you will very much enjoy the news that now WE CAN HAVE A HIGH RESOLUTION TEXTURE PACK TOO.
i would like to say thanks to all the people mentioned above, for i swiped textures from them and used some as place holder and some as permanent. some of these textures from other packs will be subject to change in the future hence the BETA title.
if you would kindly try this texture pack out and post some pictures of your favorite constructions and landscapes in your respected servers that would be very nice! the pictures i have taken are quite meager!
if it proves to be popular enough there will be more variations of this texture pack in the future. this is the spring/summer version, and i will be uploading fall and winter versions as needed.
i will also be making a psychedelic version.

if you like this texture pack and would like to see more from me i will be happy to do so. i have big plans for a brand new THEMED texture pack. if you look at some of the things in my pack you can get a hint at what this theme might be! however i do need the funds to be able to start work on such a project. if you would donate it is greatly appreciated, any and all donations are thanked graciously!
UPDATE: added all the stuff from 1.6 and 1.7! if ive forgotten anything let me know!
1. I can't BEHOLD anything without any screenshots.
2. You need permission to use someone else's textures, even if it's only as a placeholder.
3. At the bottom of your post is html, it isn't going to work on a forum.

Most people won't download unless they see a screenshot. It doesn't need to be that good, it's just to show that it probably isn't a virus, and lets them know ahead of time if they'd be interested.
if you could kindly ensure that all custom options are ticked including water and lava that would be tremendous!
and thanks for taking a screen shot. i will try to get some people who play on my server to do the same. the main reason i havent done it yet is because well to be honest iwht you there isnt that much impressive stuff on my server that would showcase the textures very well!
this is why i would like to use screenshots from other peoples packs! id like to see their servers with it running, thats all :smile.gif:

thanks for the link, i wish it was a button though! is there no way to do that ? i see a lot of other packs have nice BUTTONS on their threads!
There is, I just don't have the image. If you can get the image url for the button (not the url you were using before, that's the link you need to go to if you want to donate) you can replace the text that says 'Donate please!' with an image.
thanks yes that was my main inspiration behind the pack. i thought 32x32 had so much potential but nothing id seen matched up to the feel of the painterly !! so hence .
The Sign item in items.png needs to be moved to the right a pixel or 2, part of it bleeds over onto the sprite of the bread. probably not a problem for anyone efficient with an image editor, but whenever you do an update, i would fix this too.
Very nice texture pack btw. Love it.
