You're probably going to feel like you can never please anyone when I say this but I liked it more with the more saturated brown, personally.
It's still my favourite texture pack, don't worry.
But that is absolutely true. You can never please everyone.
It is a good texture pack though. I use it on my single player maps.
Yeah, I know these things Oungawak. Except for the water lines. It's weird though, I didn't see them when I use it? I'll look more closely though. The stair UV map is horrible crap and should be fixed and there's not much I can do about it right now unless I mess up the regular cobblestone badly. And yes, I used a filter on a lot of the textures to make them look like that...I like it better because it looks less realistic. Any objections?
I like the new stone better so I'm going to leave it, but I can make the grass more grainy again.
Why'd you use the filter? We like this for the realism. And the dark grittiness. And that filter took a little away from both of those aspects. I sincerely hope you still have your pre-filter version of that

I like it better this way, but I reverted some of the blocks back to the old ones per Oungawak's suggestion (ovens, chests, workbench, iron block, jack-o-lantern) and partially reverted a few other blocks. You can compare in the next release.
Might create a "customizer" for the next release as well if I feel like it.
Well... I agree but as nearly all textures packs (including this one) already need MCPatcher to work properly...
It would be great if they can add this feature to their patcher.
I think you have to add something to each block's class to make it work, so it would be less compatible.
But maybe it can be added to the "base class" for blocks so that they can all have it. I can check when I get home. Maybe we can suggest that it be added.
Also, sorry again about the delay in finishing the items...
Hey, I know that the last thing anyone wants to be doing is making a bunch of little pictures while staring at their computer but, will their be any ETA on the new release? I absolutely love this pack, plus it's my first HD pack. Not to mention 128x128. I hope I'm not rushing you.
Also, in this pack, will mobs be re-textured? This is only my second texture pack (they first being Painterly by Rhodox) and that one had mobs re-textured.
If someone could take the time to better inform me, and answer my questions, thank you.

There are never ETA's on new releases, but it's usually been 3-5 weeks between them. And I'm not sure if I want to re-texture mobs and animals, I haven't decided. But if I do, they'll probably be the last thing.
Thanks for answering my questions. I'm pretty sure, sevenfour, that if the mobs are half as well done and made with the same amazing quality the rest of the pack is, they will be stunning.
Also, if I may make a suggestion. I like the engravings on the cobblestone corners but, whenever I look at it my eyes are always dawn to the engravings, not the actual stone. Which, in my opinion, takes away from the wonderful texture of the cobblestone. So if they could be a little bit smaller, which it's not my texture pack so I can understand if you don't want to. And plus since everyone else seems to like the size, my idea probably won't be implemented.
Anyways keep up the good work sevenfour. And thanks for making such an awesome texture pack. I don't make 'em but I kind of understand how long it takes to make a good pack, and you my friend must have spent a while making these, so i commend you for you time. And you will most likely have a very happy long-time user of this pack.
Looks nice, I am thinking of trying it out. If I find it good, I shall suggest it as the "official" texture pack of the Role Playing server, I and a group of friends are developing.

I can, I promise they'll all be done in the next release.
How is the update coming?
Well, the mushroom stew is done...
:smile.gif:
Just remember that it's not 100% done.
No, it's not even that brown anymore...
