Why oh why! Cant someone start a continuation pack like what Doku's and Ovo's has become? At least that would keep that pack up to date
No, If he doesn't want to update it let it die. However, Sevenfore has disappeared for MONTHS at a time. I wouldn't worry too much. Real life does interject sometimes.

That's a damn shame man. I understand though. I've always wanted to do a texture pack of my own one day, but the one thing that keeps me from doing it is the amount of time and effort required, having to update (nearly) every time the game does would get down right old.
Hopefully someone down the line who has the time and interest will pick it up and bring it back to glory. This is still the best Texture Pack I've ever used. Good luck with whatever's next in store for you seven.
Hey guys,big fan of the pack, so I took it upon myself to update it as best I could. Its not the best, and took a a few pieces from mein-craft tp, but itll serve. Could anyone work with me, or do the items themselves?

P.S if anyone still has older Ornate versions, give them to me as I'll be able to make use of the textures and give them new purposes. I have V4, but would like V3 or V2 x64 :wink.gif:

I guess all I can say is thank you for what you have created so far. And I hope that someone picks this up and starts a continuation project. This will always be my favourite texture pack and I'll really miss using it. :'c Perhaps one day in the future when I have time I will continue it myself... but it really won't be up to the same quality as yours.
Have you lost interest in Minecraft altogether? D: If so, fair enough but if for other reasons I'll be optimistically hopeful that maybe you'll have a change of heart. XD
Yeah, I have lost interest in it completely. I don't really like the gameplay "direction" that they've decided to go with after 1.6. It feels cheap to me now, and I hate the new world generation code that started with 1.8.
Also really annoyed about lack of optimization and features that should be completely standard in a modern game like mip-mapping and anti-aliasing... The game runs really poorly in comparison to some third party map viewers and has big memory issues. And I think it's unacceptable to continue adding new features and get to "release" version without addressing those issues.
If those issues are addressed (officially, not by mods) in the future, and the world generation code changes again, then I might consider coming back to it. But for now, anyone can continue the pack or use the textures for their own pack.

I've basically updated everything that minecraft really "needs" so this tp is usable again! I will now be working on mobs, armor, animals, etc..
just trying to keep everybody who keeps checking on here updated! head on over to my forum page to see what I've done. any feed back is appreciated and I will be more than happy to customize the tp to your liking, just ask!
