Hey guys, whats up. Just wondering why everytime i use a texture pack i go into minecraft and i can break stuff but i cant do anything else other wise it freezes and crashes. No im not using a pirated version.
It might be something when i patch the TP into minecraft, i might be screwing something up.
Heres my process. I delete "bin" and "texturepacks" folders in my appdata. next i download and save TP in a folder in documents. Then using patcher i select texture pack and browse and find it. It patches and it says success...probably. I then start minecraft and play in online and it freezes anytime i do build or hit anything in single player or multiplayer... PLEASE HELP. Thanks.
Well, you could either (a) have too slow/old of a computer that cannot handle new texture packs, (:cool.gif: you did not leave your texture packs within the zip folders when importing them into Minecraft, or (c) you're not importing your zip file into the right Minecraft Textures folder.
Also, I've had the same problem with crashing/freezing before, too. What I've noticed is that using less detailed textures never causes trouble. Maybe try that, as well?
The old patcher made you select the tex pack. This patcher, that is no longer needed. In fact, may cause problems. Don't select anything except in the options tab IF you want to choose different options there. No need to do anything but click the patch button otherwise.
