Well.. after working all week making new textures for you guys, I was putting the final touches on the post and was ready to update my post when I decided to check and see if my download link was working.
And while checking my own texture pack link mediafire decided to give me 6 driveby trojans that shut my gaming laptop down. Im writing this on my ipod just to let you guys know that I can't get my computer on, let alone finish my texture pack.
I've been using mediafire for months now downloading and uploading files and that has never happened to me before, I guess I just figured it would be safe to use. Wrong
Well, im done making texture packs and I would advise you not to EVER host on mediafire or you might get a up your ass.
Whatever, guess thats what I get for trying to help people.

I've checked out every single HD pack available that I'm aware of. There are a lot of "realistic" HD packs available now and many of them are quite nice. Few of them are actually realistic and fewer still are attractive. I find this to be one of the rare instances when both appear together. Nicely done indeed! I'll continue to watch your progress. Best of luck!
Thanks for the responses ive been getting, I was just waiting to see if people are that interested in it before I move on.
Anyway since some people are interested I am going to be adding some additional seasonal texture pack alternates (I will provide a poll for the first one to start) and you guys can vote!
the pack is wonderfull BUT theres just two things that if you can change would be great 1. the windows look verry bad around the edges. i know this IS an hd texture but 1 or 2 pixles of black around the block i think is great 2. obsidian. its verry (sorry i have to say this about an awsome pack) ugly. real life obsidian is verry clean and i realy do like nice clean obsidian (i have an obsidian table and i was kinda upset when i got the pack). i realy hope these can be changed :biggrin.gif:
THE TEXTUREPACK BROKE MINECRAFT!! i cant seem to evan place down blocks without the game crashin. it started when i got the texture also i instlled it the same way as i install ALL textures. ALSO my .mc folder got messed up when i installed it.
Dude, calm down its just a terrain.png that installs the same on every texture pack here are some possible problems.
-Your computer cannot handle that many blocks drawn in HD and it black screens randomly. (I had a computer that did this)
-You have an out of date mcpatcher
-You deleted your bin and frogot to repatch it before using again.
thanks! i love the texture but its just very glitchy
what i was thinking is that if some one can make a 16x or 64x (i dont know it thats right) version of the pack then i can enjoy teh awsomeness of the pack without it sploding on my computer
Glad you got it fixed, yea its easy to scale down in a paint program to 64x or so, but you lose most of the HD effect and it usually wouldnt turn out as good as one that was MADE for 64x.
I might do it sometime but people can easily do it themselfs if they have paint.net/photoshop just rescale 50% and re-save/repatch.
Highly recommend this pack guys!
Unlike some HD texture packs [/cough] photo realism [/cough] this texture pack does not make my eyes go weird when I am walking around which is a MUST in any texture pack.

Keeping the pixel noise down has been top priority since the start, and I hope to keep it that way, so you guys can focus more on gameplay rather then how much your eyes hurt xD

However, on the last screenshot the blocks annoy me - you need to make them look seamless, it just looks a little weird!
