Hello, I seem to have a problem with uploading texture packs to Minecraft. I edit the basic texture pack and save the copy to the reconmended place to "upload" texture packs to Minecraft(got the information for the Minecraft Wiki). So I place the modified pack to the location needed(C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\texturepacks), but it is not showing up on Minecraft.
Am I placing the pack in the wrong location, or am I missing a step?
Well From what I remember texture packs must be in .ZIP or .RAR form when placed in the texturepack folder.
But sometimes Minecraft can be weird.
If the texture pack is 16X (The normal size of Minecraft texture packs) you can actually just put the texture files in the Minecraft jar file (Like if you were putting a mod into Minecraft.
You don't save it in those formats. You save the terrain file as .png, then you put it in a .zip file. If you're on Windows, you can just right click on the file (or highlight all the files you want in the texture pack, given they are in the right subfolders, and right click one of the files), go down to the option that says 'Send to', then choose 'Compressed (zipped) folder'.

If the texture pack is X32 or larger, there is a patch program called MCPATCHER that can help. It is located here http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=252531.
Don't forget to follow the instructions and back up your Minecraft files!
How do I save it in one of those formats? My current software I use (Corel Paintshop Pro Photo X2) can't save in those formats.
Also from what I read, and from the format the origional texture pack is saved as, the texture pack have to be saved as .PNG.
Maybe I can post mt texture pack here as someone could save it as .ZIP or .RAR for me.
ZIP or RAR files aren't files to save pictures as, but they are archive files that you can put files into.
You usually can zip or rar these files using a program called WinRAR.
