I don't know a lot about patchers so I have a few questions and I don't know where to find the information. How would I test custom water/lava on the terrain.png? Are there any other textures on terrain.png that get used by the patcher (maybe portal texture)? Could I use a rain texture greater than 512px height with the patcher?
this is where they are supposed to go in the terrain...although portal doesn't really work.
and the rain.png... pointless to use a bigger one(although it works) because it will animate the same regardless.
edit again...lol: with as much trouble as it is getting the strip on the terrain to animate correctly, it's easier to just make the custom animation files. check this for help with those :tongue.gif:
with the new addition of animated fire in the 2.0 patcher, they have to be the custom files.. still working on getting those right, but I will post a video tut for it up on the artist's guild site once I get it worked out.
