I have a 6gb ram, gtx 470sc, intel core i5-760 8mb cache but it would not run 256x256 does anybody know why? Please help and i would be very appreciated for your kindness thank you and have a nice day. :biggrin.gif:
True story. I run the 256 pack on a laptop with about 50-70 FPS steady. =D
...With the exception of rain. That seems to rape my laptop.
Edit:
Forgot about the question. XD
As asked before, are you using the HD patcher? Also, is your Java updated and are you able to run 64bit Java as well? Also, there is a video on one of the final posts of my thread that has Java allocation.
P.S.
Post this on my thread next time instead of flooding the forum with posts like this. =)

I use the 125x pack on a quad core desktop computer, normally I get an
acceptable fps, but when it rains, Lag tries to kill me.

To Monster10: 125x packs don't exist.
To the person: Screen resolution?
If every block is 256x256 pixels, your monitor needs to be relatively large and your graphics card need to be fairly awesome. Also, if you guys REALLY want lag, downgrade to 1.5 and get the GLSL shaders. roflroflroflroflroflroflroflrofl
