1.4 should bring the completion of what comes with Minecraft by default. Art should be finished, as well as the extra animations. Basically everything on the "to do" list. Future updates will have support for common mods like Wildgrass.

What I do not like is the cobblestone, the water, and etc.
I just do not like it and I like most 16x texture packs.
