Just an update - I have compiled a list of the updates I need to do for 1.9 (the villagers aren't going to have huge silly noses for one). It also contains a couple of things that need to be fixed in the customiser, but if you spot any bugs and you know you are using the customiser version, let me know.
I'll just go and update the to do list (it'll have to be in a spoiler!).

I'll be sure to use it when it finally gets released. Only thing I don't really like about it is the normal log texture, it looks like it should be the pine texture...
Hey, this happens to all TP's I use, but you might know the fix.
I have the default side grass texture and I'm not sure why. Happens on the default as well. I only have optifine installed, but it happened in the vanilla as well. (By default, I mean the really bright green)
Sorry, I don't know a fix! It's only on the side grass..? Make a backup of your saves and TPs etc and uninstall/reinstall Minecraft, sounds like something is being overwritten. Also, I don't know what optifine is.

I had the same issue. poped open the pack, and w/ photoshop re-sized that texture to the same size as one of the equivalent ( furnace i think) textures.
And also, no release till its all done? That's to bad, i really enjoyed this one, but i had to stop using it because of all of the game updates.
Well anyway, keep up the good work, and I'm excited to see all of your new textures ^^
I can no longer play minecraft without this texture pack, so I added all the new stuff to the pack so I can use it until you finish the stuff for 1.0.0:

I hope I did that right, I tested it for all the new stuff I could think of. I couldn't test the villagers though.
EDIT: was missing potion buff icons and a couple other minor things, fixed. I also flipped the half-armor-point icon because it was bugging me.
