"GLAPBetaApril21DefaultPaintings" Is the name of the folder where it's stored. The contents aren't themselves paintings, but it's still crashing my minecraft nontheless... I downloaded the texture pack a couple days ago so I don't know the exact name of the texture pack. Can anyone help at all?
need more info dude.... what size is the pack? if you used the patcher, did you delete the bin folder and start fresh, patching before installing any mods? is the pack zipped in a folder or is it zipped properly? it doesn't work just doesn't help us help you.

While I'm not sure exactly what your problem is, I've fixed crashing issues in the past by backing up my 'saves' folder, then deleting the entire .minecraft directory. Run the launcher, and in a moment you're up and running again.
