Ok so I went to the website where painterly is to make a new custom texture pack. I filled out what i wanted and downloaded the texture pack. I compressed it into a .zip, used mcpatcher to patch it, and now whenever I try to play minecraft, it gets stuck at a black screen.
Em, well two things you probably did wrong
1.It's already a zip when you download it. You just have to put it in your texturepacks folder.
2.you probably used the old patcher. Download the new version found in the stickied thread.
Also, are you using any other mods?
