It's not necessarily stealing, but depending on copyright and whatnot, it can range from illegal (even if you give credit) to incredibly rude.

close enough to consider stealing, considering they do not know you're using this. but trust me and remove the download link for now

That's not how it works.

If you steal a jug of milk from a supermarket, it's not wrong only if you're caught. Same thing here; you're still doing a bad thing by taking these people's work, and continuing just because they haven't seen the thread is, to be blunt, stupid.

ok the content is freely given and keep in mind I'm still trying to contact them, I think there work is great thats why I used it. its a complement. I am sure that they will love it and they will probably see it soon if they check the boards. and to the creators of the texture packs if you are reading this great work I love the texture and really did try to contact you. and thats all I have to say about it
