I mean, what's the normal one so I can edit it? PLZ REPLY
The default one? Go to %appdata% - Roaming - .Minecraft - bin - right click on minecraft.jar and open with either winzip or winrar. Scroll down to you get to the files that have T as their first letter. (It's in alphabetical order). Look for terrain.png and open it up with paint.dot or whatever program you want to use.
paint.dot? never heard of that. but anyway your assuming he's using a mac, the %appdata% file on a pc (windows or such) that you may be using "Roblox" (lame game) is Application Data, in C\documents and settings\user name\Application Data\ .minecraft\bin \minecraft.jar the rest is as he said. except I recommend GIMP
Edit: you will never find the download, we can NOT post the original default minecraft items, only the edited, so there will be no default terrain.png download. do the archive "crud" or too bad
Also if you don want to work with archiving, give up on texture packs because you have to.

You know, I think you can download the basic texture pack on Minecraft.net
EDIT: Nevermind, you can't. Just looked around. Still, I recall you used to be able to.

IndustrialCraft is the best mod ever. It is also the largest, most comphrehensive mod I have seen on these forums. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to play well with other mods.
