Hey all, this is an early preview of my latest texturepack. It's not nearly done, but I plan to keep working on it in between school and other things.
-So what is SerpentCraft???
A texturepack! no but really its a lightly detailed piece that I recently started after failing at a different style texturepack. I incorporated a few of the nicer things from that failed pack (it was never released) into this one
-Whats the plan, Stan?
Well Among other things, work on this pack more. First priority is to finish the .png, and then i'll focus on items, gui, etc.

4/25/11 - Ores are done!
4/27/11 - Snow, Ice, Ladder, Redstone torches, and gravel done
-So what does this pack look like?!

Nice diamond-grass and trees n' leaves! (I haven't done birch yet)
My own personal sphere house, made of planks and stone, with a walkway of cobble and a garden off to the right and some sand on display to the left
The inside of my sphere house, with chests, a creeper bed, the workbench, and furnaces! (thats glass on the sides)
some nice tulips and dandelions outside of my SQUASH farm!
thats right, i grow squash. And i enjoy a hearty 3 hearts worth of squash pancakes from my squash garden.

I'm posting this early mainly for feedback to get exactly what would match in the user's eyes.
If you have ANY suggestions, concerns, comments, praises, disses, or ideas, PLEASE post them.
It's no good if you don't voice it and I want to hear it regardless of what it is!
ALSO I'm looking for one of those drastic color charts for the grass and leaves to use since I have no idea how to design one myself. If you know of any artists who has one and you think would be willing to allow me to use this for this pack (I would ask myself and give them credit, no worries) please feel free to mention them! (I'd be releasing alternative packs, so don't think you'd have to go with that one)
Do you "like" mine? You know, Chriskalos's Craquelure?

I actually really like where you're going with it, the only thing I don't like is how it doesn't blend very well.
It really reminds me of roller coaster tycoon, and I don't know why...
Its nice and rough (don't know if thats what you were going for) which seems like a good style. also leaves are badass, i can never get those right :tongue.gif:
