I'm having a trouble with my texture pack. I'm currently using painterly's pack and everything seems to be going fine.
Except when I place down redstone wire it always shows up powered. Even without a torch or a power source it stays lit. I tried using other texture packs like Quandry/Gerudoku's and it works fine. I know how to customize texture packs using programs like Paint.Net. So I am just wondering if anyone could point out where this file has the texture when redstone wire when placed. Thanks in advance!
Sounds like he put the lit redstone where the overlay should go so it's always looking as if it's lit.
Delete the two lit redstone tiles and make sure the two above it are grayscale and it should behave.
For reference, here is what the default terrain.png looks like:
Note the two blank spaces below the solid white redstone wire. Anything put in those will be drawn on top of the wire regardless of it's state.
