Welcome to Gloomy Craft! This is just a texture pack that I decided to make cuz I was bored. I will hopefully update it often, so try to bear with me. The first release of my Gloomy Craft doesn't change ALL blocks, but it does change the ones you see often. Later in my versions creepers and other mobs will start looking a bit different. It isn't really gloomy... but it sure does have a nice feel to it.
Please leave a comment if you download! It would be greatly appreciated and cery helpful to the production!
1.6.6 Texture update adds:
-New Block destruction animation. It is now a loading bar! It looks sweet!
-A couple of minor touch ups I think needed to be added.
Here's what I am going to do in the future:
-Finish Terrain.jpg
-Change the Cobblestone texture -Remodel ALL Mobs
-Change tools
-and whatever else people want me to do. (I'll do almost anything, just let me know and I will take it into suggestions.)

I have a huge problem... SOME tree saplings will be purple blocks! (like they're invalid slots in the terrain.jpg file).
The purple block saplings are Birch tree saplings (the white trees), and the regular saplings are normal. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?!
Looks very good so far, although I don't really like your cobble, it tiles sorta weird. But other than that, good job!

Thanks to both of you! And I will DEFINITELY fix the cobblestone thing, It needs more detail to it anyways haha. I played for a while and realized it was a little dull and uninteresting.
OK i did this too. take your 2 new sapling squares and move them down 16 bits, where the pine was fill it with the purple square. that will fix it, the birch should be directly above full grown wheat
Edit: I looked and you havent even made them, but yeah that's where they go, make thim as separate saplings.

I just checked too, and I LOL'd! Apparently I extracted the terrain.jpg file when it was just 1.5, and not 1.5_01, and i ended up using a slightly outdated file. But thnx! I'll fix that right away, along with the cobble! Any suggestions on Cobble??
search it or something similar, find an image you like, and base your cobble off of a piece of it (preferably not just copying and resizing) we can't really suggest cobble, lol.

Haha, alright. I'm currently working on it right now. Something came up last night... It was extremely important, and delayed me. So NOW I continue to work on it. :biggrin.gif:

I also changed the Sapling texture, and I added my own little changeup to the Sun and Moon!
Terrain.jpg is about 80% finished. I completed all the main stuff, and decided to leave all the wool colors. I believe they should stay the same. (Unless somebody wants it done.)
New screenshots are to be uploaded shortly, and I am going to make a custom Health Bar soon!

Haha! Yeah my mistake. I meant .png.
Also, I am currently uploading the update to Gloomy Craft. From now on, the Version of the texture pack is going to correspond with the Minecraft version. So THIS update is going to be 1.6.5. Uploading... now.
More updates posted! Sweet new breaking block animation! Pics posted! Modified the GUI a bit! It's pretty nice looking now! Check it out!
And if anyone is interested, I am accepting suggestions, or even submissions, of modified tools! If you suggest it, or link it to me (AND IT IS YOUR OWN WORK), then I will gladly put it into my pack if it fits nicely!
I forgot to mention one thing. I am currently working on mobs, and I added one of them to the 1.6.6 tex pack. It's the creeper lol. Ill upload the picture as soon as Firefox stops derping... for some reason I can't load photobucket at all.
