The only and I do mean only complaint i have towards this pack is that the two darker wood types are hard to distinguish from each other. I love the textures, but, I don't know. maybe it's the icons that need some of tweaking?
hey i got every thing downloaded correctly but when ever i click on my mods and texture pack button the screen either goes black or goes white and it instantly freezes up and i have to re open minecraft just so i can play again :sad.gif: but i do like the texture pack (even if i dont like the glass and the lag it gives me)
I have no idea why that is happening, sorry. Do you have the correct version of the HD patcher installed? It MUST match your version of minecraft to work.
I also don't know why it's lagging-- my computer is pretty slow, but I have almost no problems with 32x packs. Again, to reiterate, neither of your issues is a problem with this pack-- both are related to your computer and/or the patcher.
I might end up making alternate glass textures in the future, though, so no worries there. :smile.gif:
Im getting that too. I patched it and everything and when I put the texture in the texturepack folder, it goes black.

There is nothing in this texture pack that is making everything go screwy-- it is ONLY an aesthetic change. It doesn't touch any code at all. All your issues are patcher/computer problems, and I can do absolutely nothing to fix them.
Yay! Looks awesome! But I'm going to have to withhold your diamonds until you change the title to the real name of this pack, which is Assassini. There's already someone else out there with a pack named 'assassincraft', and I don't want to cause confusion.

I haven't gotten to the items yet, and probably won't for a while. They're last on my to-do list after finishing the terrain, mobs, weapons/armor, and of course, making alternate nether blocks for those who just want a renn themed pack.

Wow, that's wierd. I'll try repackaging and reposting each version and see if that works. Both of them work for me, though, so I'm not sure what's going on.
I'm not sure why people were having problems using v0.2 and v0.3, but just in case mediafire is doing something wierd I put up mirror links that go to a different download sight.
But again, since I obviously didn't make it clear enough the last two dozen times I've said it: THERE IS NOTHING IN THE ZIP FILE BUT A BUNCH OF PICTURES. THEY ARE PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE OF CHANGING THE CODE OF THE GAME. In reponse to the 'black outs' that have been reported, I had several of my friends re-download copies of the two newest versions, and none of them had any trouble with it. Again, I'm sorry that you're having problems, but nothing in this texture pack (or any other, for that matter) alters how blocks render/function.
If redownloading from the mirror links doesn't fix what's going on, then something is wrong on your end. May sound mean to say, but it's the truth.

That's a very cool city! (did you make it?) but, um.... I'm not sure what it has to do with this pack. I've never played the first assassin's creed, and my pack is based on Brotherhood (and asscreed 2, since they're both in the same time period). Now if the city was shown using this pack, that would be a different story... *hinthint*
