So, here are some things that jumped out at me that I think need improvement. (though you probably have already noticed it)
1) The dirt: I love the overall feel and texture, however I think the larger chunks need broken up. Otherwise it creates a line like so...
2) This is most likely an issue with the water shader I am using but I noticed this on the ladders.
3) Your grass needs work, it looks like something I made (I suck at grass and leaves) I know what you can do :biggrin.gif:
4) the smooth stone tiles weird at a distance.
5) the chests seem flat for some reason. maybe a satiny shading?
Other than that everything that I have seen looks good so far. I will keep using the pack and keeping my eyes out. :biggrin.gif:
First-- that ladder thing is really wonky. And I haven't noticed it, so I'm going to say that it's probably the water shader rather than some stray pixels.
The dirt...I don't know, the bands have kind of grown on me. I almost like it that way. :biggrin.gif:
This looks sweet, definitely going to give it a try. Surprised I haven't posted here before. :tongue.gif:
Assassin's Creed was a great game, 2 even better, though I am shamed to say I haven't played Brotherhood and I refuse to get Revelations until I play through it.
Back on topic: gonna download right now. :biggrin.gif:
hmm, if you want to go for the banded look you could make it looks like strata. ie shade on band a tad.
Hm...I'll try it, but at the moment I think doing so would make the bands stand out too much. Also, you will notice that the band with the thicker chunks already looks a tad lighter (another optical illusion-- I love abusing those in texture packs ^^). But like I said, I'll give it a go. :smile.gif:
Alright, i've already asked this on your compilation thread, but it would make more sense to ask again here :biggrin.gif:. Anyways, how's the overhaul going? If you have enough done or you don't mind, post maybe a pic or 2? If not, then you can just go, :unsure.gif: , to your throne of artistic win.

It's going fine, but I'm playing everything close to the chest right now in case I want to change something later.
its a shame my computer can no longer hold enough frames for enjoyable gameplay to use this texture pack 24/7.
but maybe make the golden sword the staff from the end of 2 when he is in that vault thing killing the pope((even tho he lets him live, made me mad)(also is that what your idea for it already was?) :biggrin.gif:
just keeping suggestions going :biggrin.gif:
I may have mentioned this earlier, but I was ignored. :unsure.gif: No doubt the great steelfeathers is too busy to read my comments. :tongue.gif: I would love to see sandstone columns as an alternative to sandstone, along with stone statues or gargoyles for pumpkins.
Anyway, the Better than Wolves mod has a tonne of Renaissance era technology, and an Assassin's Creed texture pack for it would make me jiggle with excitement.
Nonetheless, this is my favourite texture pack, and I would like to present you with 9001 x :Diamond:.

Sorry, didn't mean to ignore you-- I sometimes don't check this pack for new comments...
Anyway, I like the idea of having an alternate sandstone column texture, but I don't know if there were a lot of gargoyles in renaissance italy. Although it would be cool to make the pumpkin into some sort of decorative piece....
EDIT: And the btw mod sound pretty cool. I'll have to check it out-- I've never actually used it. :tongue.gif:

That's ok. Maybe not gargoyles.. a marble statue or the like would be awesome! But seriously this is my favourite texture pack! It's great to see its talented creator present in its thread as well! Bonus diamonds!

Retired StaffSorry, I don't speak babble. :biggrin.gif:
It's french for "bless you" XD
I'm still curious as to why 42 said "*achoo*" because I was there when he did it.
BTW, nice stuff as always. Don't want to comment on your thread twice without acknowledging the textures.
