Okay, it's fixed now. The download now includes the 'Steelfeather's default' melon, mushroom, and vine texture.

The version up right now works just fine with 1.7.3. None of the new textures override the old ones.

That's a lighting bug for 1.8. Don't worry, it's happening to everyone for every texture pack.
