If they're just for you, go ahead and make as many textures as you want. I'll be updating later today with the basic 1.8 defaults thrown in to make it compatible, then put up my 1.8 textures as soon as possible after that.

One thing I might suggest...
Change the health bars to the Atimus Synchronization meter thingy, and I'll be happy.

This texture pack is my favourite texture pack! (It may help that I am a massive fan of Assassin's Creed and the Renaissance) My only suggestions would be perhaps some alternate textures for sandstone such as a marble pillar (goes well with the Roman/Renaissance Theme) and also a mod texture pack for Better than Wolves, which has some rather Renaissance era technology in it that would go well with the theme.
Anyway, I am building a large Renaissance town using your texture pack, and I may post some pictures of it later.
Until then, looking forward to the new texture pack stuff!
Actually what I plan on when the towns in minecraft are filled with flesh, is remodel all the buildings to work as a Renaissance period town. And what with me walking around as a plague doctor I'm gonna live myself in a church. And kill random people every so often. Just to feel special.
