:biggrin.gif: sorry i know it takes time but this texture pack is so good i cant hold it in, i need to know what everything will look like! :biggrin.gif: i love the whole thing, but whats with the iron blocks and diamond ore? the iron block looks strange and out of place to me, and the diamond ore is so small im sure people who use this pack miss diamonds in the ceiling of caves and other places cause of it.... oh well, love your texture pack, never gonna use another!
good luck with finishing it and cant wait to see the final product

Okay, I'm going to use you as my scapegoat to clear this up once and for all. Sorry if I say 'you' a lot-- it's meant as a generic 'you'.
--First, the iron block is black because it's meant to look like cast iron/wrought iron, which they had a lot of back then. I personally think it looks wonderfully decorative, and have built a lot of structures out of it, since it also matches the black iron gate.
--Second (and I've gotten a lot of crap about this one) the diamond ore is small because I think it looks better small. Have you guys ever heard the saying that good things come in small packages? Like wedding rings, or car keys...or diamonds. To me, seeing that innocent little diamond winking up at me is quite thrilling-- I don't need or want it to be overly large and visually bashing me over the head going, 'look at me, I'm a diamond!' And I've never had a problem with missing it-- the color and shape stands out from the light gray stone. If you can pass by and not see it, then you need to learn to observe your surroundings more closely.
That said, I'm glad you're sticking with me, crazysteve25. :smile.gif: Fans like you make it all worth-while.

Since the ore only gives you one diamond anyway, this makes much more sense.
So, after installing this texture pack, something really funky's been going on. First of all, I installed it the proper way, using the feature within minecraft. My problem also involves the portal mod. Here's where it's wierd tho: a few days ago, I tried installing the portal mod, and failed (i got the blackscreen, yes i did delete meta-inf). so i gave, and just switched to the backup minecraft file i'd been using. Today, while doing some building work, i was looking through the items in my toomanyitems mod, and there they were, all the portal items. tried using them, worked perfectly. after going back to my minecraft folder, i cannot find any of the portal files anywhere within it. it makes no sense to me.
Why does that involve this texture pack?
Because on dirt blocks with grass, the grass rim around the side has been replaced with mini blue and orange portals. trees are also affected by this.
Anyone have a solution or any ideas? I Really want to use this texture pack haha
EDIT: all the files for this mod are stored in a folder on my desktop, however, i still don't understand why it would interfere or even function, as none of them are in my minecraft.jar

It's impossible for this texture pack alone to cause those problems. The only things contained within the zip file are pngs-- they do not effect the code (ie, how the world is rendered) in any way.
That said, it could be that somehow the mods are conflicting with the HD patcher and/or something got delete/omitted by accident. Try this: Download a clean jar file, redownload the patcher, patch, and manually re-install your mods one by one. Sometimes everything gets messed up if you try to patch after installing mods.
If that doesn't work, post an error report on the HD thread or the mod threads. But again, it is physically not possible for this texture pack by itself to be causing problems.
he man just downloaded it and played with the pack, it looks great. i've only found a bug or something. the pumpkin is showing lava at one side and the corners are also lava.
i thougth i tell you.
and i have an idea for the pack, why dont yuo make the mobs (zombie, skeleton) like the enemies in the real game, skeleton like the achers in the game, zombies like tempelars.
but its a great texture pack, and sorry if my english isn't correct.
The lava on the pumpkins is not a problem with this pack. You need to download and install the HD Patcher, otherwise you'll see a lot of glitches.
I like this texture pack and look forward to seeing what else you produce for it. I especially think the animus nether is a great idea. Nice job with the ladders too.
One thought though, would it be possible to make the portal more animus-like? I just thought it might look a bit more incorporated as you are traveling.
ok i just saw this pack i think it looks amazing the color of the dirt is throwing me off but you know what if i could id make a mod to go with this pack just so you could do things like the game totally wish ik how

I'm not sure how to change the portal, but I'll look into it.
Using this without HD patcher was kinda funky, got multiple items (images) in one slot :tongue.gif: It's all fixed now :smile.gif:
Reason I am posting is because I am using the Yogbox mod compilation and multiple items in the mod cannot be seen Or appear as something else. I understand why items are invisible (sort of) but some things appear as other things e.g. a "BigCat Claw" seems to be half of a compass. I am posting to see if this is fixable or just something I have to live with.
I'm pretty sure it's something you're just going to have to live with-- or, at the very least, it isn't something I can fix from my end. Nothing I do to my textures will fix your problem. Sorry.
When I saw the title was I like "Oh boy, another crappy "assassin" texture", but then I saw the texture and I was so pleased with this masterpiece you've created, it looks wonderful!
I used your texture pack to build the Auditore Villa of Monteriggioni for an adventure map, and it would be great if you could do a texture for the Pistons ! At least release a basic texture, but I need it for my map, and it's pretty hard without a texture...
In return, I can't show you screenshots at the time 'cause I'm stucked in a hole and I can't get out of there without the single player command mod which will be released this week-end. But I will ASAP.
I'll update the textures as soon as I can-- I've been at work all day, so I haven't been able to work on them. But they will definitely be up tonight.
As far as I can tell your newest version of the texture pack has NO fire what so ever. I've patched it and everything. Looking at your textures in their folders I can not find any fire texture at all. I see where it should be but there is no fire.
