I like it but I think you should make the coins( I think they are coins)on the ores wider and you shoulsd a little more detail to all blocks or it will be mario simple pack. The pow tnt blocks are AWESOME!

Ok I'll try adding some more detail. Do you think that maybe it would look better as a 32x32.
I would remove the black outlines on the common blocks (smooth stone, sand, grass, dirt) as it hurts my eyes now
Second I would change the color of the grass, because it's a bit too bright for me.
As third 'idea' make the crafting bench into the "?" box from mario. Like "You never know what you can get!"
I've been thinking about changing the color of the grass but i'm not sure yet and thanks for the crafting bench idea. I can't believe I didn't think of that.
I like what I've seen so far! As for some criticism...
1. I do not like to current color of stone. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer stone be a reasonable color, ex. greyscale.
2. Another personal thing, I dislike have a texture pack before it alters the GUI/Items/armor. Nothing personal, just feels missing imo. (I see you'll be working on that and for that )
3. Just some advice, maybe make the armors mario/wario/luigi/waluigi suits. Maybe even a yoshi, bowser, or raccoon suit! Many possibilities!
