This is my first attempt at a texture pack, so please, be kind. Any criticism is welcome, but it must be constructive criticism.

SBN stands for Smooth but Noisy.

Ok. I like the Minecraft original textures. I do. However, I wanted to change them around a little. I toyed with them, and found a combination that I think is noteworthy. This is said combination. This pack doesn't aim to change the experience, but rather....refine it. Like it was said, it is fairly smooth, but is also noisy. Now, I'm no doku, so don't expect it to be life-changing, but I like it, and I think you will too.


Terrain: 65%
Items: 25%
GUI: 10%
Mobs: 0%
Other Crap: 5%

As you can see, it's not really complete.

Yay! I don't suck! Yeah, that was my main goal. Just to change it a little. I mostly got rid of the blocks that I hated, and turned the others into something that would blend.

Update bump. Worked a little more on terrain.png, added bookcases, mob spawners, and custom tall grass and shrubs. MAde it 1.6.6 compatible.

I prefer this to the default, I think; particularly the cobble. Minecraft's default cobblestone is very ugly. I'd possibly give your cobble just a touch higher contrast, but apart from that it's good.

I like it. It takes the ugly out of some items blocks.
